Terrible would not refund or offer credit despite flight cancellation manager inga terrible

Super relaxed earthy tones everywhere. Lovely chilled vibe and all the staff were really friendly. Exceptionally quiet room with everything you could need. Even the filtered water tap in the room was a real treat. Can’t fault our stay in any way.

After having lunch at the restaurant, we met friends for drinks. Unfortunately service for drinks was not great. Each time we had look for staff to order new drinks.

It’s a great location!

The hotel wifi is terrible and intermittent. The bathrooms are horrific. No full length mirror in the room, no outlets in the bathroom so you have to use the dryers in a dark corner of the room. The lighting in the bathroom is also AWFUL so we left the house never knowing what we looked like each day. The food in the restaurant is completely unremarkable. Even though WiFi extenders are widely available, they’ll never get it for you. The cast to TV will not work since you can’t stay on the wifi. Do better.

I will start by saying that I would highly recommend the 1 Hotel Mayfair. The staff are lovely & the rooms are great. This is my 3rd stay there & it didn’t go quite as well as it has in the past. I always bring my dog with me and they usually provide dog wipes so that you can wipe off their feet before entering the hotel room and those were unfortunately not provided this time and they said that they didn’t have them. That was a bummer because I would’ve brought my own, but I didn’t because I anticipated them being in the room again. I would say my biggest disappointment was with room service. I would not recommend the tomato Barada pizza. It is covered in dried tomato paste and then portions of Barada, but it was not very tasty and it was just not what I had expected at all. The tomato sauce is weird and even the Barada is a little weird. In the morning, I ordered a California burrito and ask them to add a few ingredients. They forgot the tomatoes, but they added spicy pickles and because I absolutely hate pickles. The whole burrito was pretty much ruined. When I called them and let them know about it, they said that they would try to take it off the bill. They did in fact take it off of the Bill, but I had a little giggle over the fact that they still charged me for the Latte. I would’ve thought that they would’ve Just exited out the entire breakfast, Bill. It’s not a big deal. I just found it a little funny. one of the best hotels in London, very clean and comfortable, complimentary breakfast is amazing, will come back to stay here again next time.
