The Io World Kagoshima City Aquarium, one of the largest aquariums in Kyushu, is easily recognized due to its unique architecture.

Shirokuma is a type of kakigori (shaved ice) that looks like a polar bear. It has been a Kagoshima favorite for more than 70 years.

Shirokuma shaved ice is made by pouring milk syrup over finely shaved, crushed ice, and then decorating with fruit and sweet adzuki beans.

Don't forget to take the picture of shirokuma before you enjoy it!
