The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big and nice—however if you're going to use the pool, it's a little brutal from a process perspective. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and kind, but the person running entry to the pool was tough.
The hotel's policy is that everyone whose name is on the room is permitted into the pool area plus one guest. There were four of us named on the room with one guest, and we booked the room specifically to spend the day at the pool. We called the hotel to confirm that this was fine, and that one of our headcount was a 7 year old child — we also confirmed again in person upon check-in that this was not a problem.
I had no problem, walked into the pool area and got the last three chairs, however wasn't given any towels. Upon entry we were informed that kids are not allowed in the pool at all after 12 PM and then later were aggressively informed that kids actually were not allowed to be on the same floor as the pool after 1 PM, the staff luckily allowed us to stay and our 7 year old was extremely good about how weird and badly managed the communications were.
