BP Chiang Mai City Hotel

The location was great and centrally located to everything we needed. We hired a private driver to go to further out of town. Unfortunately, our bathroom would flood every time that we took a shower and pools under the tiles. Mud would squirt out every time we walked in the bathroom. The hotel lost water for some hours during one day of our stay but we took that time to go to the laundromat. The hotel is definitely an older building. Breakfast was not worth it. We only ate there one day and then elsewhere for the rest of our stay. Our bed was decent and we had a nice balcony. The Sunday market is within walking distance and INCREDIBLE! There is also a nightlife area within 15 minutes walking. Overall we were comfortable and had a lovely time but would avoid in the future due to the bathroom floor issues alone. We couldn’t walk in the bathroom without outside shoes on and had to have towels on the floor for most of the time.

The place is rundown. No bar, no kettle or coffee in room, same 2 fruit every day at breakfast. Only one bedside table between two people. Pillows uncomfortably hard. The staff were polite.

The hotel was pretty average but in a central location.

Staff was amazing and friendly! Beds are clean and comfy. I saw posts about bugs in the room but I was here for two weeks and never saw one. I’d stay again!!

1/Reception staff not welcoming on our arrival and rarely made eye contact, there was no greeting.2/ The room type requested wasn’t ready but was allowed to change rooms after initially being refused. 3/ The bed was so uncomfortable and we were woken at 8.00am with drilling and banging elsewhere in the hotel. We would stay here again. The first time I have given a negative review on a hotel.

You can see that this hotel was grand at one stage but it's been neglected and really needs some love. It has a dirty feel to it. The breakfast was offered in a dark and gloomy place which made it unappetizing. The gym was a huge disappointment. I am a firm beleiver that you get what you pay for and this is the case with this hotel. If you want something with more luxery, don't stay here. If you're juat looking for a place to lay your head, it's good. The people who work here are very kind.

Very comfortable.

Nice stay in the middle of the Old city of Chiang Mai and still quiet. All you need in the street, a bar, restaurants, souvenir shops and massage salons. If you ask for no room service they will still leave 2 bottles of water and toilet paper in front of your door every morning. The buffet breakfast was fine too. I would stay again.

The staff were very helpful and did everything that was expected.

Hotel staff went above expectations to help us. Breakfast buffet variety is ok, but food is cold - not kept on heat. Pool is cold- even though it is 88 degrees outside. Decor is dated and still used an actual key for just room.
