We joined this local tour as a family of three and had a fantastic experience. The whole trip was very well organised and ran smoothly from start to finish. We visited the wildlife park and had the chance to feed the animals without needing to queue, which made the experience very relaxed and enjoyable. Lunch was fish and chips, which was nice, but we strongly recommend upgrading to the lobster as it was very fresh and definitely worth it. We also visited the desert, enjoyed an exciting off-road desert vehicle ride, and tried sandboarding. Everything was arranged very well, and the activities were fun and smooth. Overall, our family had a wonderful time. The tour was eye-opening, memorable, and gave us a great chance to experience the local scenery and activities. It was excellent value for money, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Anche se abbiamo visitato molti posti in un solo giorno, e capisco che ognuno ha preferenze diverse e non sempre si può rimanere più a lungo dove si vorrebbe, sono rimasto comunque molto soddisfatto dell'itinerario. Il servizio di prelievo e riconsegna in hotel è stato molto comodo, il pranzo delizioso e la posizione ottima. Quel giorno abbiamo incontrato la tempesta più forte degli ultimi cinque anni nel sud-ovest dell'Australia, e l'auto ondeggiava molto sull'autostrada. Fortunatamente, la nostra guida Cindy, con la sua grande esperienza, è riuscita a completare l'intero tour senza problemi!

Tim ci ha prelevato al molo n. 4 di Barrack Square Jetty, come chiaramente indicato e puntuale. Il furgone era confortevole. Ci ha anche fornito acqua in bottiglia. Abbiamo apprezzato il fatto che Tim avesse lavorato in precedenza al Caversham Wildlife Park, il che ha reso l'intero viaggio all'interno del parco perfettamente puntuale e ben preparato (suggerimento: un sacchetto di pellet per nutrire i canguri e altri animali). Abbiamo pranzato al Mandoon Estate, dove abbiamo optato per cibo vegetariano. Il cibo è stato servito rapidamente, caldo e delizioso. Successivamente abbiamo proseguito il nostro viaggio verso la Margaret River Chocolate Company – Tim ci ha offerto alcuni cioccolatini per una degustazione gratuita, e ne abbiamo acquistati alcuni come souvenir. Più tardi abbiamo visitato Scarborough Beach, che era incredibile dato che anche il tempo era ottimo. E abbiamo concluso il nostro viaggio a Kings Park, passeggiando e scattando alcune foto memorabili. Nel complesso, questo tipo di tour di gruppo è prevedibilmente un po' affrettato, ma ha soddisfatto i nostri obiettivi per la giornata.

Frans è stato una guida fenomenale! Ha reso il nostro intero tour super piacevole e divertente. Molto disponibile e rapido nel rispondere alle nostre richieste. Avevamo un drone e non eravamo sicuri se potessimo farlo volare sopra i vigneti. È stato così veloce a verificare e confermarci la possibilità! Ha una personalità così gentile, premurosa e amichevole. Che tesoro è!

The tour started at Pier 3 at Barrack Square, where the pickup for the cruise was punctual and well organised. The cruise itself was a lovely way to begin the day, with interesting commentary along the way. We were welcomed with a delicious glass of champagne, followed by three glasses of wine, as well as onboard lunch. We arrived at Mandoon Jetty at around 12.45pm, where we joined the bus tour for the afternoon. Our first stop was Windy Creek Estate, and wow, there were a lot of wines to taste! I counted easily around 15 different glasses of wine if you were game enough to try every single one. Next was Garbin Estate Wines, where, haha, there were another 10 or so wines available for tasting. After all that wine, we headed to Swan Valley Brewery for some beer and chips, which was a nice change of pace. Our final stop was the nearby Whistler's Chocolate Company & Cafe. We got back on the bus and returned to the city at around 5pm.

Swan Valley Small Group Gourmet Food and Wine Tour — Best of Perth Tour Had a fantastic day on this tour. Tim, the owner of Best of Perth Tour, personally ran the small group and was excellent — genuinely knowledgeable about wine and attentive to everyone’s needs throughout the day. The small group size made the experience feel personal rather than rushed. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Perth and looking to explore Swan Valley’s food and wine scene.
