Guam

Stayed for seven nights, and after reading many reviews, I thought it would be terrible, but it turned out better than expected. The location is great, with easy access to shopping. The room was clean, and you can request amenities from the front desk (toilet paper, towels). The water pressure was strong and hot enough, and the air conditioning was super cold and comfortable. You can bring your own hangers to dry clothes outside; the AC's outdoor unit dries them quickly (1-2 items). The front desk staff is also very friendly and can help you call a taxi to the airport for around $30 USD. I would definitely choose this place again next time. The only downside is that if the shops are closed, you have to take a longer route to get out. The hotel also offers a laundry room service hidden next to the main entrance. If you need to get water, you can go to the gym (I only found out in the last few days, and the front desk doesn't actively tell you).

I would like to commend Sir Jun Ego for his outstanding assistance during our entire stay at Hotel Nikko Guam. From the very first day until our check-out, he went above and beyond to make sure we were well accommodated. He guided us on how to find transportation, introduced us to taxis, explained the use of Stroll, provided details about bus availability and schedules, and even suggested places we could visit during our trip. His efforts truly made our stay smoother and more enjoyable. Sir Jun played a huge part in completing our trip, and we are deeply grateful for his help. We highly, highly commend him for his excellent service.

The staff handover seemed a little out of it, they asked the next person in line, who was already registered, again. Also, the elevator doors close really slowly, and the shaking is pretty intense; it feels like an accident is waiting to happen. And I don't know why the air conditioning in the lobby has to be so cold.

The hotel staff, from the concierge to the housekeeping staff, was friendly. Our room was clean and cozy. The AC kept the room cold (which is nice for Guam). There was only one bath towel upon our arrival, which wasn’t a huge deal but just surprising since there was two of everything else. A couple of hand towels and washcloths would’ve been useful. Concerning the safe in our room: we followed the instructions several times, and the safe wouldn’t lock, so we weren’t able to use the it for our valuables; it may need some sort of maintenance or repair. Overall, we a comfortable stay.

Although I didn't see any dolphins, I had a great time snorkeling and fishing in Guam's ocean. If you are prone to seasickness, I recommend taking medication beforehand. The boat ride was long, so I felt a bit seasick, but it was still fun. Hopefully, I'll see dolphins next time!

The show with the dinner buffet was so much fun. Highly recommended! The fire show at the end was the highlight. The aboriginal dance was also great to watch.

È stato fantastico! ! ! ! ! Essendo la mia prima volta a fare snorkeling e partecipando da sola, ero molto nervosa e ansiosa prima della partenza, e temevo sempre che l'acqua fosse troppo profonda e che mi facesse paura. Ma il capo e il sub sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili ad aiutarmi. Mi sono divertita un sacco e ho visto davvero delle tartarughe 🐢 e persino dei delfini 🐬! L'acqua di Guam è molto limpida, quindi anche nelle acque un po' più lontane si possono vedere chiaramente i coralli e le creature sul fondale. I giubbotti di salvataggio e l'attrezzatura per lo snorkeling sono molto professionali e mi fanno sentire al sicuro. In breve, è stata un'esperienza davvero meravigliosa per me che vivo in una grande città da quando ero bambina! La consiglio vivamente a chiunque venga a Guam, non esitate 👍🏻

I saw "Ka'lea" at the SandCastle during my stay in Guam. It was on a larger scale than I expected, and I was overwhelmed by the lighting, sound, and the power of the dancers. The acrobatics scenes in particular were breathtaking, and the whole venue was filled with a sense of unity. The story-like nature of the show made it enjoyable even without understanding the language, which was great. The costumes were also gorgeous, and I was able to fully enjoy entertainment that was unique to being abroad. I only watched the show without dinner, but I was more than satisfied. The venue was also easily accessible from the hotel, which made it a great memory from my trip to Guam. If I have another chance to go to Guam, it's a show I would like to see again.
