Hotel a Jeju

Abbiamo soggiornato qui durante il nostro viaggio a Jeju. La camera in cui abbiamo alloggiato, come ho notato, era stata recentemente rinnovata, e avevamo una vista sull'oceano. Non avrei mai pensato di poter avere una vista sull'oceano dato che avevo prenotato una camera "ROH", il che significa senza garanzia. Il giorno dopo ci hanno fatto un upgrade e siamo stati in una camera più grande perché la nostra camera originale aveva un problema con la porta. Tuttavia, avevamo ancora la vista sull'oceano.

Lotte City Hotel Jeju is located near Jeju Airport, and it takes about 5 minutes by taxi. I got an Uber TaxiXL for my family, pick up at Arrival Gate 5, price 5400 won. We arrived at the hotel around 12.25 PM. The front desk is on the 6th floor. The staff was quite firm can checkin from 3pm. So we left our luggage at the reception and then walked to Olive Young store in the next building to shop. I booked a Ocean View room, where I can enjoy a great view of the sea and the airport runway. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. There are many dining venues around the hotel. I didn't include hotel breakfast. We went to a bakery called Mother Bakery which is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel provides a shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport every morning. Ask about the latest schedule at the hotel reception.

Love love love everything about this hotel! We got a room with a balcony and facing the sea, so the view every morning and the night lights ate immaculate. The room was very clean too and had everything we need and much more. The TV was a smart TV and had YouTube and other apps in addition to Korean and international TV channels. The breakfast was really high quality and comparable to 4-star hotels we've stayed at. The breakfast buffet have lots of delicious and healthy options and the menu changes everyday. The surrounding area had fresh seafood restaurants and the Black Pork Street and Chilsungro Shopping Street were just at the back. There are bus stops nearby and it was a quick 20-minute taxi ride to the airport. We'll be coming back for sure!

The location is fantastic! There's a GU, 7-Eleven, and SG25 downstairs. McDonald's and a supermarket are nearby. The hotel partners with BBQ Chicken, so you can order in-room dining or go downstairs to order, which is very convenient. You can see the sea just across the street. The hotel has a parking lot, but you can also park on the street outside. There's a tent-style Korean restaurant next to McDonald's that's also highly recommended. The rooms are simple, refreshing, and very clean. We stayed in two rooms, 309, and the equipment was fine. In 310, the bathroom door didn't have a water strip, so all the water splashed onto the sink after showering. The main door was also a bit sticky and required a lot of force to close, but the bed was very comfortable with just the right firmness.

Ventimo is an excellent hotel. Close to airport and also to city center. Walking distance to over 10 restaurants of local Jeju delicacies. 15 min walk to Shopping Street. Roof top also has great view. Recommend to have Ocean view room that is higher floor overseeing airport and the sea.

The Good: Location, Price, Amenities. Hotel had a 7 Elevent. The Bad: Cramped carpark, no aircon, room was slightly dim.

The facilities are good, the staff is friendly, the interior design is excellent, the breakfast is good, and the lounge coupons are great. Breakfast is 20,000 won for hotel guests. However, the soundproofing wasn't very good, and it was disappointing that I could hear the people in the next room talking and feeling vibrations from them stomping around until 1 AM.

Ogni volta che vado a Jeju, alloggio qui. All'ultimo minuto si è aggiunta una persona, ma sono grato per averci fatto fare un upgrade e averci messo allo stesso piano. La struttura sta diventando un po' vecchia con il passare degli anni, ma la posizione è ottima, quindi mi piacerebbe soggiornare di nuovo qui.
