Non siamo riusciti a prendere la funivia (Hakkoda) a causa del maltempo. La signora Sakurada ci ha accompagnati lì per dare un'occhiata (comunque alla stazione 😂). Inizialmente eravamo delusi, ma non dopo il percorso del torrente Oirase. È bellissimo! Non c'era troppa gente lungo il percorso (forse a causa del tempo leggermente brutto). Abbiamo pranzato al lago Towada, il tempo per esplorare dipende da quanto velocemente si finisce! Siamo riusciti a visitare il santuario di Towada e ci siamo divertiti durante il tour! Guidare attraverso il percorso innevato non è un compito facile, siamo contenti di aver prenotato il tour!

A quanto pare, era il primo giorno di forti nevicate del viaggio, quindi non siamo riusciti a vedere molto. Ma Nakamura-san ci ha comunque accompagnato all'onsen di Lamp No Yado, che è stato il momento clou del nostro viaggio. La montagna innevata è così bella, e Nakamura-san... Cosa posso dire? Così abile e calma per tutto il giorno. Deve essere stato così difficile guidare in una giornata nevosa, perché lungo il percorso abbiamo visto molte auto incidentate e in ogni scena si è fermata ad aiutare. Eravamo così ammirati. Penso che sia una delle migliori autisti e guide del Giappone. Grazie mille, Nakamura-san! È stato davvero un viaggio indimenticabile!

I was very satisfied with my stay here for 2 nights in Aomori. This is the second time I've stayed at a Dormy Inn since the one in Ikebukuro, and overall the facilities were newer. The onsen (hot spring bath) and free massage chairs, late-night ramen and ice cream, and yogurt in the morning were the best services. The staff were very friendly, and there was apple juice and a coffee machine near the front desk, so it was nice to be able to come and go and drink during the provided times. There were also a variety of amenities and the onsen was clean and had an outdoor bath, so it was great to soak in the hot water in the cold air. If I had to pick a downside, it's about an 8-10 minute walk from Aomori Station, so it might be a bit inconvenient if you have a suitcase, but it was fine for us. I would recommend it to anyone and if I have the opportunity to come again, I will definitely stay here again.

Connected to the station and also to the malls. Convenient and accessible. No issue with booking when checking in. The room is as advertised in the photos and the breakfast spread was incredible too.

This is my second time visiting Aomori, and I chose Daiwa Roynet Hotel again. Firstly, there aren't many hotel options here, and secondly, this chain guarantees quality.
As with other hotels in the series, the rooms are quite large and the bathrooms are very clean. The location is also excellent, with a convenience store downstairs and a cafe across the street. It's also just a few minutes' walk to JR Aomori Station, which is great.
Plus, the shopping mall at Aomori Station has been renovated, adding more places to browse. Highly recommended!!!
