Booking guidelines
- Book at least 7 business day(s) before you intend to receive your rail pass
- The name, country of residence, and passport numbers entered when booking must be an exact match to the passports used when boarding
- This pass is for non- European residents only. You must currently be staying in a different country for 6 + months and provide proof of residence (visa/residence card) and proof of citizenship (passport)
- Proof of citizenship can be established by a passport. Proof of residence can be established by government issued residency documents, e.g. visa, residence card
- Your country of residence and passport number will be printed on the pass, so please make sure you fill in the accurate information upon checkout
- If you have resided in country A for over 6 months, but are a passport-holder of country B, you can either fill in A as your country of residence at checkout and provide your passport and proof of residence while on the train, or fill in B as your country of residence at checkout and provide your passport while on the train
Pass eligibility
- Important: Indicate the total number of adults and children aged 0-11 when booking
- Up to 2 children aged 0-11 travel free of charge for every adult with an Adult Pass (not applicable for the Senior Pass)
- If more than 2 children are traveling with 1 adult, a separate Youth Pass must be purchased for each additional child

Il viaggio in treno in Svezia non è economico, quindi abbiamo acquistato un Flexi Pass di 4 giorni quanto basta per vederci attraverso i vari luoghi che abbiamo preso di mira. Questo pass era "abbastanza flessibile" da consentire modifiche dell'ultimo minuto al nostro itinerario. Poiché non l'abbiamo convalidato online (cosa possibile al giorno d'oggi con il sito web dell'Eurail Pass), abbiamo dovuto trovare lo sportello della stazione per farlo prima del nostro primo giorno di viaggio. Quindi ci sono pro e contro se convalidarlo online prima del viaggio. Se i tuoi piani sono fissi e non è probabile che cambino, la convalida online con il sito web dell'Eurail Pass ti farà risparmiare tempo nella ricerca di una stazione per convalidarlo. Nel nostro caso, abbiamo perso un po' di tempo all'aeroporto di Stoccolma per cercare lo sportello per convalidarlo. Sfortunatamente, dopo averlo convalidato, non abbiamo potuto prenotare la tratta del treno che volevamo senza pagare un supplemento per "Express" in quanto il normale era al completo.
Se il piano è già stato fissato, è bene risparmiare tempo, fatica a fare la fila per acquistare i biglietti dallo sportello o dalla macchina. Assicurati solo di conservare il tuo pass in modo sicuro dopo averlo convalidato.
Ci sono costi di prenotazione molto elevati richiesti per la prenotazione dei posti sul treno. Sicuramente non lo consiglio. Consiglierà contro l'utilizzo di viaggi EuroRail in Svezia.
