Exhibition Introduction
Self-made nature - beyond organic symbiosis Nature and Artificial Natures: Symbiosis Beyond the Organic “Self-made Nature - Symbiosis Beyond Organic” brings a multi-faceted dialogue across art and science, nature and technology, observation and perception at the Taipei 101 Double Fusion Area. This exhibition is not just for viewing, but also a sensory experience that involves both body and mind simultaneously. When ecological concepts are combined with AI computing, biological forms and human cultural memory, the exhibition site will be transformed into a symbiotic perceptual network, inviting every viewer to rethink “what is nature” and become a part of creation through interaction. This exhibition is curated by artist Chen Pu, extending the core concept of his long-term creative project “Black and Blue Cosmos”: every person is an ecosystem, and every object is a living organism. At the exhibition, visitors will walk between hand-painted and digital hybrid biological installations, travel through a multi-dimensional space constructed with dynamic visuals and AI-generated images, share the breath with luminous plants, and experience the diverse forms of life between tranquility and flow.
Exhibition Highlights
AI interactive creation area Audiences can participate in the creation of AI images, triggering and generating incredible virtual life through taxonomic and morphological algorithms. This is a brainstorming event co-created by humans and AI, and also a live laboratory for imagining the future evolution of species.
1:1 real-life footage of a blue whale descending on Taipei 101 By restoring the precious real-life images of blue whales and humpback whales in a 1:1 ratio in Taiwan’s most representative immersive space, Shuangrongyu, the audience can experience the shock of being there in person, as well as the symphony of dialogue between technology and natural elements.
A world-class plant collection The exhibition brings together rare plant species. Through cooperation with Taiwan’s well-known horticultural ecological brands, world-class rare plants that are rarely seen by the audience are integrated into the exhibition venue, creating a rare knowledge and ecological experience.
Large Plesiosaur Light Installation The visual entity combines hand-drawing, biological models and 3D design, overlapping nature and the future, the micro and the macro. One of the representative installation works, the “Plesiosaur Light Installation”, runs through the exhibition hall in a macro posture. Its shape is derived from the morphology of ancient creatures and combines organic and futuristic mechanical senses, symbolizing an imaginary ecosystem co-constructed by the past, present and future.
Immersive Video Area The combination of multi-channel synchronized surround images and sound field design presents an organic pulsation from leaf veins, neural networks to space. The audience will be placed in a constantly evolving visual space and time, as if entering another breathing rhythm, synchronizing with the space and following the perspective of the protagonist “Time Traveler UJU” to explore the evolution of life, environmental imagination and empathy fields from the future.
Flower-shaped plant light installation art The flower-shaped structure is constructed with transparent balloons, and the light flows slowly from the root to the top of the flower, rhythmically moving like the breathing of life. The installation combines dynamic multimedia art to create an immersive technological and natural space, allowing the audience to feel the fusion of plants and technology and immerse themselves in a healing experience like a wonderland.
MR Mixed Reality Interaction The exhibition specially sets up a small mixed reality experience area where visitors can interact with virtual life forms in real space through wearable devices. This area combines augmented reality and spatial positioning technology to provide a dual immersive experience of vision and action.
Limited-time events during the exhibition
During the exhibition, cross-domain activities such as music, design, and body, mind and spirit were carefully planned. Golden Melody singer Schumien was invited to give an unplugged performance, and the fern godfather Guo Chengmeng and landscape designer Hong Ruijin shared their views on nature and symbiosis. Botanical stylist Yuty will present her aesthetic that has placed plants at the core of life over the years, while Lululemon × The Median will bring a yoga meditation experience that balances the body and mind in an immersive space. “Self-made Nature - Symbiosis Beyond Organic” combines nature, technology, art and sensory experience, inviting you to enter this incredible world, empathize with the boundless immersive space, coexist with plants, and create the future with your imagination. “Let us meet here and breathe together.”

Recensioni
Ottimo.
