The history of Yakatabune (houseboats) dates back to the Heian period (794–1185) and the Edo period (1603–1868). Initially, these ornate vessels were exclusively for feudal lords and samurai. Over time, they gradually became symbols of wealth and social gatherings for wealthy merchants. It wasn't until the late 19th century that Yakatabune were officially opened to the public, allowing more people to enjoy this unique cultural experience.

Ho adorato questa esperienza e la consiglio vivamente. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile. Karen è stata l'host con cui ho interagito di più ed è stata adorabile. Il cibo era delizioso ed è stata la nostra prima esperienza con l'hot pot. La barca è assolutamente bellissima e splendidamente decorata. Si sono fermati a metà del viaggio e ci hanno permesso di salire sul tetto per scattare foto. Se avete la possibilità di fare questa esperienza, vi prego di prenderla in considerazione.
La giornata è stata incantevole, la barca bellissima e l'intrattenimento sicuramente divertente! Ma questo tour è pubblicizzato come una crociera per ammirare i fiori di ciliegio – sebbene ci siano molti fiori di ciliegio finti che adornano l'interno della barca, quelli all'esterno sono difficili da vedere e da fotografare a causa della forma e del design dell'imbarcazione. L'altro aspetto è che qualsiasi foto si riesca a scattare avrà un'autostrada come sfondo. Il cibo era delizioso, ma sarebbe meglio avere anche qualche tipo di cibo occidentale – non a tutti piace il sushi.

Un'esperienza molto bella e il cibo è gustoso. Abbiamo mangiato manzo e maiale. Lo spettacolo è incredibile. Offrono anche una sessione fotografica alla fine dello spettacolo di shamisen. Purtroppo non c'erano più i Sakura, ma va bene, ci siamo goduti molto il viaggio. *Per chi soffre il mal di mare, potreste voler considerare dei farmaci prima dell'imbarco.

Il personale è stato incredibilmente premuroso e la nostra host, Shelia, insieme al resto dell'equipaggio, ha fatto di tutto per noi, aspettando gentilmente me e la mia famiglia nonostante il nostro arrivo in ritardo. La cerimonia del tè è stata davvero memorabile, e il momento clou della crociera è stata l'esibizione di shamisen: interattiva, coinvolgente e completamente divertente.

Un enorme grazie ad Ashley. È stato davvero piacevole avere qualcuno di allegro e divertente. Non siamo mangioni, quindi avremmo potuto condividere un piatto di cibo tra di noi. Mi sono sentita maleducata a sprecare così tanto cibo delizioso. L'intrattenimento è stato buono, con spiegazioni sugli strumenti utilizzati e sulle canzoni cantate. Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere ancora dei fiori di ciliegio non completamente caduti, fermandoci davanti alla Tokyo Sky Tree per una foto. Una serata piacevole.

Esperienza yakatabune incredibile con musica tradizionale giapponese vivace, guida coinvolgente e divertente e ottimo cibo. Altamente consigliato!
