Wakakusa Mountain Burning Festival: Held on the fourth Saturday of January every year, the Wakakusa Mountain Burning Festival is a fire ceremony to pray for the safety of fire disasters in Nara and world peace.

The buildings of Kasuga Taisha Shrine are the quintessence of architectural techniques from the Nara and Heian periods.

It is said that Takekazuchi Nobuhiro came to Nara from Kashima in Ibaraki Prefecture riding a white deer, so the deer here are regarded as sacred deer.

Kofuku-ji Temple is the clan temple of the Fujiwara clan, who were important officials in the court since the Asuka period. It was originally founded in the Yamashina Basin in eastern Kyoto, where the clan lived, and was called "Yamakai-dera Temple".

Nara Park is an urban park located at the foot of Mount Wakakusa in Nara City. It is home to many of Nara's historic sites, including Todaiji Temple and Kasuga Taisha Shrine. It is a must-see for tourists visiting Nara.

Todaiji Temple, also known as Daikogonji Temple, was built by Emperor Shomu in 752 to worship the Great Buddha and serve as the head temple of Japanese temples. It is the main temple of the Kegon sect.
