Booking guidelines
- Reserve a Seat
- Reservations are not compulsory in Great Britain, except night trains
- Reservations will incur additional fees
- You can check the timetable and/or make a reservation on Klook’s Europe train ticket booking page or make a reservation at any station with a ticket office covered on the pass
Pass eligibility
- This offer is not available for UK residents passport holders
- To be considered as a resident of a country, you have to stay in the country for more than 6 months and must provide a proof of residence or citizenship while on the train
- Proof of citizenship can be established by a passport. Proof of residence can be established by government issued residency documents, e.g. visa, residence card
- Your country of residence and passport number will be printed on the pass, so please make sure you fill in the accurate information upon checkout
- If you have resided in country A for over 6 months, but are a passport-holder of country B, you can either fill in A as your country of residence at checkout and provide your passport and proof of residence while on the train, or fill in B as your country of residence at checkout and provide your passport while on the train

- BritRail Central Scotland Pass is valid between Glasgow and Edinburgh on ScotRail services, including via Carstairs. It is valid to several destinations within Glasgow and Edinburgh area, including Dunblane and Markinch. Please check the area of validity and the routes covered
- BritRail Central Scotland Pass is valid for trains that depart on or after 9:15am from Mondays to Fridays, and trains that depart at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays
- BritRail Central Scotland Pass is not valid on Eurostar services, special excursions, Tyne and Wear Metro trains, Glasgow Underground trains, Manchester Metro link, road links between airports and railway stations, Docklands Light Railway, Tram links, privately owned railways, steam services, London Underground trains and buses, ships, hovercraft, or any other services not mentioned
