For the price this was a great hotel. Clean, modern looking, location is pretty good if you can navigate the bus system as a foreigner. Walking distance to the port to take a boat to the island nearby, walking to beach (5min), 5 min to ropeway that takes you up to Atami Castle. Marine spa across the street is public pools, hydro massage, slide place good for kids, not expensive since there is no pool at Rakuten. View is great. Check in hot is really nervous as it’s only on the tablet and while Japanese national can do a face recognition for check in, foreigner has to do a video call. Line was busy saying agents are all busy for about 5 minutes that we kept dialing back on and on, thought we would never get in. Just be persistent and keep calling. Other than that, great property for a family of 4.

Excellent hotel!!! Spacious, ocean-facing, well laid out rooms. Very clean and close to the Atami esplanade (Sunbeach). Amenities are a huge plus: free bar and drinks, ice cream, clean and well maintained public bath. Close to restaurants and convenience stores.

Poor internet connection and disconnects every other min had to be at lobby or floor 2 to have consistent internet connection. There was no host and the checking in was confusing.

We had a suite on the 9th floor. Great sized room with incredible views of the harbour. Would be great to be on balcony when the fireworks festival is on.

It is an excellent hotel located a bit outside the center. Beautiful clean rooms with ocean views. Beds are comfortable. Free parking. Self check in. Make sure to follow the pre-check in.

The ocean view was absolutely beautiful and made our stay very relaxing. The room was clean and comfortable, and waking up to the sound of the waves was a highlight of our trip. One thing to note is that there is no front desk staff on-site, which made it less convenient when we needed assistance, extra towels, or wanted to ship our luggage. Overall, a great stay if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with amazing views.

We enjoyed our stay. It’s clean and modern. The open bar is a great addition. The only complaint we have is that laundry machine is terrible. Our clothes got stained from the machine and they were not dry at all. We ended up carrying wet clothes to the laundromat nearby. The hotel is about 20 minutes to Atami Station, but many uphills. We called Uber when we have luggage with us. Onsen is great and it’s tattoo friendly.

Suite with bunk beds was great, although room wasn’t super clean. Bathroom sink had layer of grime and visible debris on carpets, couch had a rip in fabric (was difficult to report this to hotel). Nice balcony with room, rooftop terrace was beautiful, onsen great! Check in was a bit limited. You need to add your passport info the day before/prior to arrival, get QR code and code for door. Then on arrival, use iPad scan QR code to talk remotely to a person to verify your id. That seemed to only be available from 3-10pm, so don’t arrive too late. Free drinks, snacks, soft serve icecream between 5-9pm (my kids loved)! Not a ton of restaurants near hotel but did have a family mart across the street.
