Fantasztikus Best meal of my life. Superb. Setting is gorgeous and authentic. Nearby hills, shrines, etc are gorgeous. A perfect getaway.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. I accidentally lost one of my earrings in the hot spring shower area, and the staff went above and beyond to help me locate it. Their kindness and assistance were greatly appreciated.

Exceptionally nice staff. Beautiful onsen and most of the time had the whole onsen to myself, and it’s limited to 4 people at a time at max. The breakfast was amazing. Really nice garden view from our room which is shared with other rooms but felt private. There are also lots of shops and temples to explore in Ohara that are much less crowded than Kyoto.

The nicest place I have ever stayed at. The onsen was incredible and the area is so beautiful and peaceful. Amazing food as well.

Such a beautiful area and amazing ryokan hotel. Staffs are so attentive, food was great. Also not as far from kyoto city as i thought. 30-40mins from taxi and bit more with the bus/ the bus station was just 10mins walk from the hotel. I would love to go back in autumn time.
