Thank you Ruly, Putro, and our Ijen guide Eddie for taking such good care of me! This 2D1N trip is highly recommended and perfect for anyone who wants to visit both volcanoes in the minimum amount of time. We had 7 people in our group, so the car wasn't too crowded and the ride was comfortable. Day 1 (Bromo): We didn't have an official guide on this day. The jeep driver simply dropped us off without sharing any details like where to go, what to do, or what time to head back to the jeep. Fortunately, Ruly kept in touch with me via messaging and successfully guided me to the viewpoint, so I didn't experience any trouble. We stayed at the DreamLand Hotel, which was clean, decent, and exactly as pictured. Day 2 (Ijen): The hike is exhausting for those who don't exercise or hike regularly. It's very steep at the beginning up to the volcano rim, and equally steep going down to the crater to see the blue flame. The path is narrow and crowded, so you must be extremely careful. Our guide, Eddie, was fantastic—he showed us an easier path to see the blue flame and personally helped me through the difficult, rocky sections. After the tour, they dropped me off at the port, and Putro kindly helped us with the ferry tickets. there are some extra on-site costs: health certificate IDR100K, drop off to Ketapang Harbor IDR650K, single room surcharge IDR375K (highly recommended for solo female travellers as they don't necessarily arrange same gender roommates for shared options), gear rental e.g walking stick IDR50K each

We had a wonderful experience joining the 4D3N Ijen Crater, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall & Mount Bromo tour from Surabaya. The trip was well organized, smooth, and truly memorable. A special thanks to our tour guide Fauzi and driver Fredy for their excellent service throughout the journey. Fauzi was very attentive to our needs, ensured we were comfortable and safe at all times, and always went the extra mile to help us. Our driver was also professional, punctual, and made every long journey comfortable and safe. We especially appreciated the effort our guide put into taking beautiful photos and videos for us at every destination. Thanks to him, we captured many unforgettable memories with the amazing views of Ijen, Tumpak Sewu, and Mount Bromo. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the beauty of East Java with a professional and caring team!

if you think about IJen, you should stop thinking and doing:)! it’s very nice place and view. the blue lava is nog so big but still nice to see. also the hike was heavy but with every strength you can do this. there are 5 checkpoint where you can take a break.

Nagyon-nagyon ajánlom ezt a túrát! A barátommal Indonéziába elsősorban a vulkánnézés miatt jöttünk, és mivel a Klookon egy másik túra értékelése nem volt túl jó, ezt a Cheap Bromo túrát választottuk. A kínai nyelvű idegenvezetőnk, Meixing, kiválóan beszélt kínaiul. Este 11 órakor vett fel minket a surabayai szállodában, majd körülbelül két óra autózás után dzsipre váltottunk. Szerintem a dzsipsofőr nagyon ügyes volt, az út nagyon meredek volt, különösen éjszaka, amikor koromsötét volt, de a sofőr vezetési tudása megnyugtató volt. A Kongói-hegyen a napfelkelte nagyon-nagyon szép volt, a Bromo vulkán gyönyörű, sok szép képet lehetett készíteni! A Bromo túra után reggelizni mentünk, sokféle reggeli közül lehetett választani, és az étterem is nagyon szép volt! Ezután az étteremből egy normál autóval mentünk a pihenő szállodába. Mivel a barátommal nagyon fáradtak voltunk, az eredeti terv az volt, hogy a bejelentkezés előtt még ebédelünk, de az idegenvezető megkérdezte a szállodát, hogy be tudunk-e jelentkezni korábban, és az ételt elvitelre kértük, hogy elegendő időnk legyen pihenni az Ijen vulkánhoz való indulás előtt! Az Ijen vulkán megmászásához ajánlott sapkát, kabátot és kényelmes, csúszásmentes cipőt vinni. Egy kis séta után sokat izzad az ember, de a csúcs közelében nagyon hideg és szeles lehet. Az Ijen vulkánhoz egy másik vezető kísért minket fel. Sika, az idegenvezető kiválóan beszélt angolul, és mivel az út nagyon nehéz volt, folyamatosan figyelte az állapotunkat, és nagyon türelmes volt! Az egyetlen sajnálatos dolog az volt, hogy amikor mi voltunk ott, a kék lángok megtekintésére vezető útvonalat lezárták, de láttunk gyönyörű tavat a hegyen. Az egész út során a sofőrünk is nagyon kedves volt, és a vezetési tudása is kiváló volt, így nagyon jól tudtunk aludni a hosszú út során. A barátommal Bali felé tartottunk, és reggel 9 óra körül kivittek minket a kikötőbe, a hajójegyeket is megvették nekünk, így biztonságosan és boldogan fejeztük be ezt a tevékenységet! Our 4D3N trip to Bromo, Ijen Blue Flame, and Tumpak Sewu Waterfall was absolutely perfect! The accommodations arranged were excellent and very comfortable, allowing us to get great rest after each physically demanding day. ​We especially want to thank our guide Anam and our driver. The driver drove so smoothly that we could rest comfortably during the long drives. Our guide Anam was incredibly professional and dedicated; he deeply introduced us to the local Javanese culture and history along the way, giving us a much richer understanding of the places we visited. ​Whether guiding us through the midnight hike to see the Ijen Blue Flame or exploring the waterfall, Anam always prioritized our safety. On top of that, he is an amazing photographer! He helped us take so many stunning photos, creating unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this team, 5-star experience!

This volcano and waterfall tour was absolutely worth it. Thank you, Dasi and Nandu, for giving us such pleasant memories. I strongly advise everyone to visit the waterfall, and it's crucial to hire a guide – it's a matter of life and death, so definitely get one!

transport options: Our driver Dosi was very friendly and made our transfer to each location very smooth. itinerary: Prepare for irregular sleeping hours as we needed to wake up at 12am to drive to the location for sunrise. But it was worth it. tour guide: Each attraction had its guide. Shout out to our waterfall guide, Edi. He went above and beyond by constantly helping us take instagrammable photos and videos even though we didn't ask. At the end of the attraction, he even helped us to compile it into a ready to post video and sent us all 100+ photos and videos. attractions: Not for the faint of heart. There were steep hikes involved and was more adventurous than we had expected. Definitely watch some YouTube vlogs to get a sense of the fitness level required. accomodation options: Fluctuating quality. One of them was amazing as it was a business hotel. The other 2 had a good outside view of nature but also had bugs (which probably can't be helped since it's near nature)

Yanto our guide, as well as our drivers Hendra and Dewa were fantastic!! They spoke fantastic english and were very enthusiastic, maybe the experience wonderful. Yanto was very proactive in helping us climb Ijen, helping us over some harder terrains and even finding the blue fire for us when he didn’t even have a gas mask himself, and he bought fried banana and tauhu isi for us with his own money! The drivers were fantastic as well, they drove safely, stopping when we needed a toilet break/lunch break, and there was no smoking in the car at all which was a huge plus for me. overall fantastic experience and we couldn’t thank the locals more

The driver will pick you up at your hotel in a five-seater sedan. In mid-April, the temperature at Ijen Volcano in the early morning is around 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit). You can wear a short-sleeved shirt and a light, warm jacket. The mountain road is steep, and you'll likely sweat a lot during the climb. You can take breaks in stages, depending on your stamina. From the entrance at 1,800 meters (5,905 feet) above sea level, you'll ascend to the summit at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet). There may be an occasional pungent sulfur smell; you can choose whether to rent a gas mask before departing. The sunrise and sea of clouds are incredibly beautiful. However, since the sulfur minerals are owned by an energy company, and workers are employed to mine and extinguish fires, you won't be able to see large areas of blue flame. Nevertheless, the burning sulfur is an unprecedented and stunning sight. We recommend arranging this trip separately from Mount Bromo, allowing for rest before continuing. A two-day/one-night or three-day/two-night trip involves a significant physical load.
