We had a wonderful experience joining the 4D3N Ijen Crater, Tumpak Sewu Waterfall & Mount Bromo tour from Surabaya. The trip was well organized, smooth, and truly memorable. A special thanks to our tour guide Fauzi and driver Fredy for their excellent service throughout the journey. Fauzi was very attentive to our needs, ensured we were comfortable and safe at all times, and always went the extra mile to help us. Our driver was also professional, punctual, and made every long journey comfortable and safe. We especially appreciated the effort our guide put into taking beautiful photos and videos for us at every destination. Thanks to him, we captured many unforgettable memories with the amazing views of Ijen, Tumpak Sewu, and Mount Bromo. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the beauty of East Java with a professional and caring team!

This volcano and waterfall tour was absolutely worth it. Thank you, Dasi and Nandu, for giving us such pleasant memories. I strongly advise everyone to visit the waterfall, and it's crucial to hire a guide – it's a matter of life and death, so definitely get one!

I highly, highly recommend this tour! My friends and I came to Indonesia primarily for the volcano tour. After seeing some negative reviews for another option on Klook, we chose this 'Cheap Bromo' tour. Our Chinese-speaking guide, Meixing, spoke excellent Chinese. She picked us up from our Surabaya hotel at 11 PM the night before. After about a two-hour drive, we switched to a jeep. I thought the jeep driver was very skilled; the mountain roads were extremely steep, especially in the dark, and his driving made us feel very safe. The sunrise view from Mount Penanjakan was absolutely stunning, and Mount Bromo was beautiful, perfect for taking many great photos! After the Bromo tour, we went for breakfast. There were many breakfast options, and the restaurant was lovely! Then, from the restaurant, we took a regular car to the hotel where we would rest. My friends and I were so tired that, even though the original plan was to eat before checking in, our guide helped us ask the hotel if we could check in early. The meals were then prepared for takeout, allowing us to get plenty of rest before heading to Ijen Crater! For climbing Ijen Crater, I recommend bringing a wool hat, a jacket, and comfortable non-slip shoes. You'll sweat a lot after a short walk, but it gets very cold and windy near the summit. At Ijen Crater, another guide, Sika, led us up. Sika's English was excellent. The mountain path was very challenging, and he constantly monitored our physical condition and was very patient! The only downside was that the route to see the blue flames was closed during our visit, but we did see the beautiful lake on the mountain. The driver who took us throughout the trip was also very kind and an excellent driver, allowing us to sleep well during the long journeys. My friends and I were heading to Bali afterward, and they dropped us off at the port around 9 AM, having already purchased our ferry tickets, ensuring we ended our trip safely and happily! So, a big thank you to this team! P.S. If you get motion sickness, be sure to bring motion sickness medication!

Tak Ruly, Putro og vores Ijen-guide Eddie for at passe så godt på mig! Denne 2D1N tur kan varmt anbefales og er perfekt for alle, der ønsker at besøge begge vulkaner på kortest mulig tid. Vi var 7 personer i vores gruppe, så bilen var ikke for overfyldt, og turen var behagelig. Dag 1 (Bromo): Vi havde ingen officiel guide denne dag. Jeepchaufføren satte os blot af uden at dele nogen detaljer som hvor vi skulle hen, hvad vi skulle gøre, eller hvornår vi skulle tilbage til jeepen. Heldigvis holdt Ruly kontakt med mig via beskeder og guidede mig succesfuldt til udsigtspunktet, så jeg oplevede ingen problemer. Vi boede på DreamLand Hotel, som var rent, anstændigt og præcis som vist på billederne. Dag 2 (Ijen): Vandreturen er udmattende for dem, der ikke træner eller vandrer regelmæssigt. Den er meget stejl i starten op til vulkankanten, og lige så stejl ned til krateret for at se den blå flamme. Stien er smal og overfyldt, så man skal være yderst forsigtig. Vores guide, Eddie, var fantastisk – han viste os en lettere sti for at se den blå flamme og hjalp mig personligt gennem de vanskelige, stenede sektioner. Efter turen satte de mig af ved havnen, og Putro hjalp os venligt med færgebilletterne. der er nogle ekstra omkostninger på stedet: sundhedscertifikat IDR100K, aflevering ved Ketapang Havn IDR650K, enkeltværelsestillæg IDR375K (kan varmt anbefales til kvindelige solorejsende, da de ikke nødvendigvis arrangerer værelseskammerater af samme køn til delte muligheder), udstyrsleje f.eks. vandrestav IDR50K pr. stk.

i had my 2D1N Mount bromo and ijen tour with Ritzy, super amazing tour guide. He is amazingly fluent in english and has the kindest heart, takes care of us throughout the tour and ensured that we are okay the whole time. He even has amazing photo taking skills and took so many amazing pictures for us. He briefed us so well for our trip and made sure we knew what was happening and what we need to prepare as well. Truly and sincerely recommend him and this tour group to others who other interested ! 🥳🥳

if you think about IJen, you should stop thinking and doing:)! it’s very nice place and view. the blue lava is nog so big but still nice to see. also the hike was heavy but with every strength you can do this. there are 5 checkpoint where you can take a break.

Our driver Dephy is really nice and helpful, made the trip really smooth.

Yanto, vores guide, samt vores chauffører Hendra og Dewa var fantastiske! De talte fremragende engelsk og var meget entusiastiske, hvilket gjorde oplevelsen vidunderlig. Yanto var meget proaktiv med at hjælpe os med at bestige Ijen, hjalp os over nogle sværere terræner og fandt endda den blå ild til os, selvom han ikke selv havde en gasmaske, og han købte stegt banan og tauhu isi til os for sine egne penge! Chaufførerne var også fantastiske, de kørte sikkert, stoppede når vi havde brug for en toiletpause/frokostpause, og der var ingen rygning i bilen overhovedet, hvilket var et kæmpe plus for mig. Alt i alt en fantastisk oplevelse, og vi kunne ikke takke de lokale mere.

The driver will pick you up at your hotel in a five-seater sedan. In mid-April, the temperature at Ijen Volcano in the early morning is around 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit). You can wear a short-sleeved shirt and a light, warm jacket. The mountain road is steep, and you'll likely sweat a lot during the climb. You can take breaks in stages, depending on your stamina. From the entrance at 1,800 meters (5,905 feet) above sea level, you'll ascend to the summit at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet). There may be an occasional pungent sulfur smell; you can choose whether to rent a gas mask before departing. The sunrise and sea of clouds are incredibly beautiful. However, since the sulfur minerals are owned by an energy company, and workers are employed to mine and extinguish fires, you won't be able to see large areas of blue flame. Nevertheless, the burning sulfur is an unprecedented and stunning sight. We recommend arranging this trip separately from Mount Bromo, allowing for rest before continuing. A two-day/one-night or three-day/two-night trip involves a significant physical load.
