very early morning activity but lucky to have had a driver who drove smoothly and safe the whole 3 hour journey to Oslob. had such a fun experience doing the canyoneering. The instructors were fun, helpful, and just good vibes in general. Kawasan Falls was so beautiful. Would really recommend anyone visiting Cebu to try out this activity. As for the whale shark, it was okay. Great first time experience, but it was abit too crowded but great experience overall.

Booking a private tour is a bit more expensive, but it's well worth the money. The sardine storm was amazing with a 2-to-3 ratio of guides to guests. They took great care of us, and even if you're not a strong swimmer, you feel completely secure. The 1-on-1 river trekking was so much fun, featuring thrilling waterfall cliff jumping—an incredible experience overall. The driver was extremely conscientious and responsible; he drove for 4 hours through heavy return traffic and even went out of his way to drop us off at a restaurant, working overtime for us. I highly recommend this kind of tour for solo female travelers or groups of girls, as it is very safe. Included lunch was pretty good too, featuring a fried chicken drumstick 🍗. Kuya Daniel, our driver, was incredibly kind, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile. He was easy to talk to, fun to joke with, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. As first-timers, we really enjoyed swimming with the whale sharks in Oslob. We appreciated that Kuya Daniel suggested doing the activity before breakfast since we arrived early. One small suggestion: it would have been helpful if the guide (don’t know the name) had recommended bringing or renting snorkeling gear. Goggles were provided, but snorkeling gear would have made it much easier to fully enjoy seeing the whale sharks underwater. The canyoneering tour was the highlight! Kuya Joel and Ate Dy were amazing — friendly, attentive, and always prioritized our safety. Ate Dy captured so many great photos and videos, while Kuya Joel encouraged me to conquer my fear and even jumped with me twice! Highly recommend this wonderful team!
