Overall, I really enjoyed this tour. It’s a bit of a shame that we couldn’t go down to Loch Ard Gorge due to the stairs being unstable, but that’s understandable for safety reasons.
What I liked most is that the tour runs in reverse. Because of that, when we arrived at the main highlights like the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge, it wasn’t too crowded, which made the experience much more enjoyable and relaxing.
This also seems to be one of the few tours that includes lunch, which is definitely a big plus. We had our lunch in the forest and it was very calm and serene—honestly one of my favorite parts of the day.
Our tour guide was excellent—very knowledgeable and made the effort to check in on everyone and get to know us, which made the whole experience feel more personal.

Tour is great, especially our guide, Stephen. It was amazing way to see the stadium without crowds though unfortunately since there are games at night, the lockers were off limits.

We stayed at Admiralty Inn during our road trip and found it to be a convenient and comfortable place for an overnight stay. The location was excellent, close to the Geelong city centre, restaurants, and supermarkets. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with useful amenities such as a microwave and toaster, which were helpful for our family. Parking was easy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Although some parts of the motel felt slightly dated, it offered good value for money and was suitable for a short family stay.
