We had a great time at the Thesis hotel! The property is very nice overall, and well maintained. I think what really stood out was the helpful and kind staff at this hotel! Every front desk employee was very friendly and helpful when questions came up. The concierge Fernando was especially incredible! His enthusiasm and recommendations are a huge part of what made our visit great. He helped us find local spots we never would have known about with our own research, including unique beach experiences, restaurants, live music and dancing. He also worked his magic to get us a last minute reservation at the acclaimed restaurant Zitz Sum, which was such a unique dining experience. He remembered small details about our interests, and tailored his ideas for us accordingly. His expertise was game-changing, and he's a big part of why I would recommend Thesis to others.

Good For the cost , there should be an operational spa. It was hard to reach them and they seem to operate out of a guest room.
No breakfast included and a $20 spending but drinks are $20 on rooftop.
For the cost, there should be a guest room for changing when you stay after checkout but there is not.
I would never stay there for that cost , in the middle of nowhere , but I was t there to see my son at UMiami. Guess that’s the hook.

AWFUL !!!! NOT A HOTEL / THIS IS A COLLEGE DORM Everything about this trip was underwhelming, and disappointing. the attitude of the front desk, the long waits for the elevators ( because the staff uses the same as the guests so elevator always busy ) and in general staff seemed to be annoyed by having to do their job. Check in was told I have to pay $39 for self parking. I questioned it and was then told told maybe i can park across the street but she "didn't know the details" of that, Isn't it her job to know? *btw it was free, But the true worst of all is that no one told me this hotel doubles as long term housing / Dorms for UM. So picture dozens of partying, :LOUD, smelly college kids everywhere , smoking weed, cursing and acting "young" .I love the youth so not a hater just think this should be disclosed so I don't end up with my 6 y/o and feeling uncomfortable like what happened here. what my wife hated the most about this place was that try to mask the funk of the college students with a scent in the lobby that she described is "disgusting" and seemed to make my daughter cough every time we were in the lobby, When i asked to see the safety sheets on the it they said they don't have it how do you not have any safety sheets on what you are putting into the air for me and my family to involuntarily consume? The pool was ok but too small and overall i feel taken advantage of by this experience. Great location AWFUL STAY! My wife didn't sleep for 2 nights, DISAPPOINTING

We booked two rooms—one with two queens and one with a king. Upon arrival, the king room was apparently more of a suggestion than a guarantee, so we ended up with two rooms with two queen beds.
We got there a bit early and decided to have lunch at the Collab. It’s a great-looking restaurant, and the food was good once it arrived, but the wait was long enough that we could’ve left, found another restaurant, eaten, and still beaten our original order back to the table. There was a private party going on, and it was pretty clear the staff was overwhelmed. They were very nice about it and comped the meal, which was appreciated, but not exactly the warm welcome you hope for.
Once we got to the rooms, things didn’t improve much. The bathtub was dirty and appeared to be filled with pubic hair, which is not a detail anyone wants to confirm in person. The towel also had a stain that I made a conscious decision not to investigate. The overnight parking situation also deserves a mention. You can only park on one side of the garage on the third floor, and finding the entrance felt like a scavenger hunt with no clues. It drove my husband absolutely insane. Lastly, the pool situation is a bit misleading. The photos make it look like there are two pools, but the larger one is actually for the residences next door and not available to hotel guests. So technically there are two pools—you just can’t use the better one.
