The property suited our needs, but the bathroom had a very strong odor of mold which contaminated the air in the whole room. The mold was visible in the shower. My daughter is sensitive to black mold, and she was coughing the whole night, so we had to find alternative accommodations at considerable expense. The owner denied there was any mold and told us that the bathroom smelled of poop which it did not. They did come in to clean the bathroom, but I have experience with mold, and I know that just cleaning it on the surface, even if they were successful (black mold, usually requires professional mold removal) would not take care of any mold that might be under the toilet or in the walls, floor or the ceiling. The owner refused to give us a refund, even though we were unable to stay there because of the poor air quality.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Sorrentina! The location is perfect, near the city center, easy to find, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was lovely, large and quiet. The AC worked well. Any little problems were addressed quickly, while we were out. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Susanna takes very good care of the guests!

Small property (only 5 rooms) which made the stay more personable. The staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb and was served community style at a large table. The only minor complaint was the shower door didn't seal closed and the upgraded room wasn't much different from the standard rooms.

The room was large and clean. It is an interesting set up that has benefits and downside. You don’t have any coffee machine or supplies in your room but there is a kitchen area where they had some supplies available but only at certain times of day. We had to buy instant coffee and our own milk and water just to make a coffee until we could go out. Breakfast we got to have 2 out of 4 times because you have to wait until 8 and we had excursions we had to leave earlier. Breakfast was good but if you didn’t get there right away food could be cold. The area is very convenient but the downside is if your room faces the street like ours did it was noisy with bar and restaurant until 3 am. The terrace is not a real terrace it is open doors that had about a foot of space so you can sit in the window and look out. Even though there were items that didn’t work for us it was a nicer spacious room than others we had on our trip. We just had to accommodate their set up instead of them accommodating us.
