GreatStayed with partner
We loved the authentic feel of this hotel. It was quaint and the beds were super comfy. The bathroom was tiny and lacked counter space. There was no place to store our clothes other than the closet with 6 hangers. We were there for five nights. It would be perfect for a short visit. It is close to shopping, restaurants and the beautiful library. We enjoyed our stay very much and made it fine regardless of lack of space. I might add the view from our room was nice as well.

GoodSolo stay
The Copley is centrally located. It’s an easy walk to Newbury street, lots of good coffee shops and restaurants to choose from. The staff was extremely helpful, warm and welcoming. The valet, though a different company, a little pricey and has a bunch of complaints on Google, were actually really nice, actively helpful, so much so that I opted to do the valet instead of parking across the street for $20 less. My real complaint is the beds: the first room I Was placed in, the bed really sunk when I sat (I’m 5’2” and 125 lbs). I stood up and pushed on the mattress whoch felt quilted and springy (aka dated). The staff was so nice when I talked to them about it, noting, “maybe the box spring is broken?”
They gave me an identical room, which I was happy to move to. The manager was super kind and heard me out without me having to over-explain. Once settled, though, I noticed the same issues just not as pronounced. Also: no coffee maker in the room?? Nothing inside of me wants to wander downstairs after traveling and sleeping to get coffee. All in all, it was good, but Copley, it’s definitely time to update mattresses.

Parking is 65 a day. Not bad if you drove. You can go in and out valet. If not there is a garage right around the corner. The rooms are a little small, the pictures on the walls were a little wierd lol... more of a older feel. The atmosphere is more of a house style more than a hotel. All around I would say its good for a quick stay. Clean, nice staff, nice valet. I would say an ok stay as far as the look. Otherwise the staff is great, and clean.

GreatStayed with partner
Only stayed one night. CLose to everything. Used parking garage across the street which was easy to use. $45 for 24 hours as opposed to hotel valet at $65. Small room but more than adequate for our needs.

GreatStayed with kids
The location is excellent and very convenient. However, the hotel feels somewhat outdated. The bathroom, particularly the shower tub, could use better maintenance, as it showed visible wear and dark stains.

FantasticStayed with kids
Great stay! Very close to everything in Boston. My family and I were able to walk everywhere from Fenway Park to Italian restaurants on the North side. On rainy days we took the bus or train which also have stops close to the hotel. There’s also a restaurant attached which was very nice and accommodating.
The staff at the hotel are wonderful people! They were very polite and helpful. The hotel was very clean and there’s a cute hidden kitchen that we used daily.

Below averageSolo stay
I hesitated to give a poor score because the gentleman at check-in was so nice and helpful, as was the valet. They deserve a lot of praise. Unfortunately my experience was jaded by the rude woman who worked the front desk early in the morning. She was so awful she had me in tears, so I decided to find another hotel. I checked out early and found a place up the road. Really a shame because it overshadowed the good work of other staff.

Always a clean, quiet, and comfortable stay. So easy to run to the Pru for coffee or food. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spotless.
