Great location just behind the main train station. Bus from out the front no1 or 14 takes you to marina area and where the tours depart from. Very central. Very good hotel and room was really comfortable. Only issue was poor WiFi in my room. Good connection in bar or pool area.

Great stay in Barcelo hotel Malaga. Clean room helpful staff and good breakfast choices. Easy walk (20 min) to the centre.Buses plentiful. Swimming pool was very small and overcrowded. Overall lovely stay.

Located at the Zambrano train station, with stores and eateries nearby. We took trips to Sevilla so we just jumped on a train there. Very clean. Great staff. Nice pool on the roof. The only really bad thing: no drawers or storage for clothes in the room except a closet and 2 tiny drawers in a moveable end table. We had clothes for 11 days and had to lay them out across the room. Who designs these rooms for hotels?! Good: the rain shower and wand were the easiest to use of any hotel I’ve visited! Breakfast was ok and only worth the price if unlimited buffet is what you want. Nearby local places were one-third the price with better coffee and options! All in all, we liked being there.

Paying for parking was outrageous

Loved my stay here. Staff were super helpful, had a great choice of breakfast and the AC in the room was amazing. The hotel is so close to the train and bus station so makes getting around easy. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location if traveling by train. Attached to both train station and mall.

Excellent location right by the shopping centre. You can enter enter the train station from back door.Lovely little rooftop pool which my little one loved. Rooms were clean and spacious.They had latrine which in the washroom which is a bonus for Muslims 😄

Clean and spotless, centrally located for easy access to all amenities, food at the hotel also great. Pool although had a thick skim of suntan lotion as people not encouraged to shower

Great base for a Malaga city break

Unlike other Barcelo hotels I've stayed at, this one wasn't great. Unless you want to be surrounded by loud, large stag and hen parties, I'd give this one a miss. Despite going to reception 4 times due to the room next door slamming into walls and screaming loudly late at night, desk staff refused to move my room because they were "fully booked". Miraculously, a room was suddenly found on visit 6. Room cleaning quality was patchy and items weren't replaced. Location was good but I wouldn't stay here again.
