Good

Solo stay

Everything was good with a few notable exceptions. Apparently the property is run by an accountant and not a hotelier. In the restaurant there was one server on duty and he was also the bartender and had to take care of the bar, the restaurant and the outside seating area. Way too much! And the food was very average. In the room the amenities were never refilled such as coffee and I was there for 10 days. Also, the toilet paper was single ply! Holy Moly! Next time I'll bring my own! I think that was my biggest let down. There was also at times an overwhelming smell of marijuana at various time in the lobby, the elevators and the guest floors. Not the best thing for kids. On the upside the staff was very accommodating. The valet was super fast. The breakfast was nice although as a diabetic my sections were extremely limited. That's food for thought!

Stayed with family · For friends and family

We arrived on a Saturday night. We used this as an advantage to park on the street overnight. This was an easy walk to the hotel. Check-in was quick. Our suite was small but very efficient. Speaking of efficient, I would use the term to describe the gym. You will find a small gym that supplies you with what you need to get in a quick workout. Fresh towels were on all machines when I arrived at 6:50 am. There are also bottles of water. We did not have the Continental breakfast. We forgot and were jealous when we saw people with fresh waffles. Do not forget your breakfast!!!

Fantastic

Solo stay

This was my first stay at the Residence Inn near Johns Hopkins, where I had a medical appointment. The immediate area around the hotel is very safe. My room was clean, spacious, and quite comfortable. The complementary breakfast next morning was better than most buffet-style hotel breakfasts that I have had. The staff was friendly and helpful and called a cab for me when I was leaving to go to the train station. There were a couple of really good nearby restaurants that a guest can walk to (I ate lunch at one of them on my final day) as well as a small little cafe where I grabbed a sandwich for lunch the day I arrived. On the night I arrived, I had dinner at the hotel's rooftop restaurant. The food was outstanding and the prices were quite reasonable. Of course, Johns Hopkins is only a couple of blocks away -- easy walking distance. I plan to stay here again on my next trip to Baltimore.

Conveniently located on the Johns Hopkins Hospital campus, the facility has spacious suites. The facility needs some updating, but is very clean and presentable. Valet parking is well run, but the cost is somewhat steep ($50/night). Staff is very helpfuland pleasant.
