Hot tub and pool unusable our first two nights. The staff did make it right by waiving our pet fee for our visit. Otherwise the stay was great.

So disappointed in this hotel. First, the hot tub was being resurfaced and the noise and dust in the air made using the pool impossible. Also the bottom of the pool was green. Looked like algae. When I showed this to the front desk staff they stated “The chemicals are checked every day.” They could not explain why the bottom of the pool was green. When we looked for a hotel the pool was very important due to the heat. It was 99 degrees out and the pool was very needed. Nowhere in their site does it say the pool area is out of commission. Our A/C was very loud, old and inadequate in keeping room cool. Also, there was so much mold in the inner fan area that was visible. The room smelled musty. Our room shade was ripped in multiple areas and filthy. Window had no screen and window frame filthy. Bed spread was ripped. Sheet stained. Pillows were so flat they were useless. Carpet dirty. I made the mistake of walking barefoot and my feet stuck to the carpet. The calking around shower moldy. The staff were very friendly, location good and breakfast was good.

Mentioned after checking in that the light bulb was missing from the light fixture by the bed. The staff said they would bring a bulb up but never did. Went to swim, the jacuzzi was being worked on, only one towel left in the area or the workout room. Two Band-Aids were floating in the pool. The bathroom floor was very sticky.

Everything seemed fine besides the toiletries. They looked kinda old. Otherwise great stay if you are just looking for rest at night.

Great choice for business or family. We stayed there and it was in a safe area. Clean hotel. Close to Red Rock, etc. Free nice breakfast. Fruit, 3 hot items like sausages, eggs and potatoes. cereal, toast, waffles, etc. Pool and hot tub. Exercise room. Great location. You will feel good about staying here. Ps met the assistant GM Katie. She is a down to earth person that really genuinely cares about her guests. One of a kind. If you are considering this hotel, just do it. Book it.

Our room was spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We didn’t get a chance to try the complimentary breakfast because we had every meal of our vacation planned out, but it smelled absolutely amazing every morning! We also traveled with our dog, and I really appreciated how clean and well-maintained the pet area was. As the owner of a mini Dachshund, this is something I pay close attention to—he refuses to walk through grass that’s taller than he is, so having a nicely kept grassy area made a big difference. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Golden is such a charming, pleasant town, and this hotel made our trip even better. If we ever return to Colorado, we’ll definitely be coming back to Golden and staying at this hotel again. Highly recommend!

We stayed here while going to a concert at Red Rocks. The location was perfect. The room was nice and clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and changed up a little every day which was nice. My only complaint was the bathroom door in both rooms we had. It was a double barn style door and the thing at the bottom would bind and the doors would not move. You had to fight them a little bit, which was annoying. When the door tilted it would drive a wheel into the ceiling and damage it. From the amount of damage already there when we arrived, I don’t feel this was unique to our stay. That is a lot of words for a small issue. Overall, great hotel and staff, we will stay here every time we are in town for a show.
