I was very disappointed with my stay at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. The room did not appear to be cleaned properly upon arrival. The tile floor was dirty, and I found multiple small insects in the bathroom, around the room, and even on the bed. There were also spider webs between the floor and the TV stand, which made it seem like the room had not been thoroughly cleaned.
The sofa bed was old, dirty, and not in acceptable condition for guests. Housekeeping was also very poor. We did not receive clean towels, and room service did not come until around 6:00 PM, even after we called to request service.
For a resort with Sheraton’s reputation, I expected much higher standards of cleanliness and housekeeping. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. I hope the hotel improves its room maintenance, cleanliness, and housekeeping service for future guests.
