Solo stay

I was amazed by the innovation of this hotel, the owner did a good job in polishing the place into a well decorated and useful hotel to many. Staffs mostly are great and helpful. Be aware that some naughty ones might jump wildly formed some earthquake type of movements and some unknown waves made your enjoyable stay into an unexpected zone. Rooms are good, clean and neat, with all the facilities that fulfill needs of many visitors. Good unbeatable prices, if equipped with a couple bottles of water, and some cooking utilities in the room that will make a complete and perfect package for one to stay.

No smoking room, which was fairly clean, except for filthy windows and filthy carpet and it-smelled like cigarette smoke. It has a two burner stove, top, of which one burner was broken. A small cockroach was spotted upon entering the room. The next day a Giant cockroaches appeared. Was refunded for one night only. Staff was pleasant.

The beds were very uncomfortable, the tile floors were dirty, not mopped for who knows how long. The hot tub wasn't, and the pool was super cold.

Solo stay

The place is charming and a bit vintage, not at all antiseptic! It’s unique. Briana and Josh at the front desk were kind and helpful. The little Mexican restaurant Los Palmitos, that Briana suggested was perfect for an affordable, delicious meal in good company, watching Mexico play in the World Cup. I got a good night's sleep and was rested for my early morning voyage into Tijuana for some radical dental work. Just what I needed, thank you…

Beautiful quiet private stay! Cute fountain to take pics in front of for us tourists. Ice machine that works! Awesome pool that isn’t crowded and has space to actually swim. Hot tub that gets hot. The room was clean but the bathroom was iffy. Hair on the shower curtain and what looked like pubic hair on the toilet seat and floor. I always carry Lysol wipes when we travel so it was no huge problem for us but others may not hesitate to complain. Also I’m a janitor, I know people tend to slack on cleaning the restrooms no matter where you’re at lol. Front desk was quick and friendly and let us check in about 30 mins early. The bed was hard on us but hotel beds are pretty notorious for not being very comfortable so what are ya gonna do. All in all.. we would stay here again. It’s close to a lot of touristy stuff and had free parking.

Stayed with family

The best part of the whole trip was the hot tub and pool. We paid extra for a room with a stove so we wouldn’t have to go out to eat the whole time and got a room that did not have one in it. The bathroom was really small and the water pressure was almost nothing. It was good for a place to sleep and the location wasn’t bad either.
