For the price it was good value. The electric ceiling fan was reasonable at keeping it bearable on hot night.
If you are sensitive to noise ask to be at the back of the guest house.

This is a lovely place to stay - we have used Marlborough many times whilst our daughter has been at University. All aspects of the accommodation are great and it is very easy to get into the centre of Oxford from here.

GreatSolo stay
Really lovely place with comfy bed, powerful shower, quiet room, good location and friendly staff. Only downside is the WiFi which fluctuated from very good to barely any signal and back. Quite frustrating, but my phone was also struggling so maybe it’s an issue with the area rather than the hotel.
Very nice place though, definitely return.

FantasticSolo stay
Great location. Quiet and peaceful hotel. Lots of natural light and cool breeze from the garden. The kitchenette has a real small sized refrigerator and not the useless dorm sized one. Waking distance to many great restaurants in Summertown with easy bus access to Oxford city center.
