I could believe the price. I was in Dana Point and could not afford the $400 per night price tag. It was a quick drive into Dana Point. And I was sure what the cheapest price in Fana Point would get me. So I chose this place. It was absolutely clean. Room was nice. Parking was free. Shower water was hot. Great place to sleep. It felt safe and was quiet.

The website says cooked to order breakfast but on the weekend, that wasn’t the case. We really just wanted coffee and a little something but it was a $19 buffet. Our room had a coffee pod maker, but only 1 regular coffee. It was mostly tea, decaf, and hot chocolate. Had to go down to front desk to get more regular and she only had 1 pod.

As a travel agent, I've traveled all over the world and am picky about hotels. This one knocked it out of the park! The room is designed really well: there's a place for your suitcase, lots of cubbies, a cabinet, closet (I always bring extra wire hangers with me) and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom's shelves were very convenient, the counter space was good and the shower was nice. The toilet lid is soft-close which is SO nice. Only improvement could be a shower handle. Again, there were plenty of cubbies in the bathroom which work SO much better than cabinets and drawers. Breakfast was included, which we did not expect, and drinks were served by waiters. The buffet had everything you'd need but I'd still like to have some pastry options. They do have plenty of bread and bagels though. It was kept clean, hot and fresh. We've stayed at the Hampton Inn next door but it was non-stop kids' traveling sports teams that were out of control. They were running up and down the hallways, screaming, laughing and taking over the buffet. There was NONE of that at this sister property. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is excellent and convenient for getting around and exploring the area. The rooms were well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Good
I was traveling with my dogs, so this was a good option. The hotel was under construction on the floor I was on, which was inconvenient but not too noisy. There’s no bath tub, the doors are absurdly heavy even for the bathroom it’s like a bank vault. But it was comfortable and adequate.

The third floor where we stayed was in a mess due to remodeling/construction. The heater/cooler system in the room was a split unit with a thermostat that was impossible to get it to produce the desired temperature and it was only recyclying the air inside the room. Could not open the window due to extreme traffic noise. As a result, there was no fresh air in the room that made sleeping unpleasant. Nevertheless the staff were polite and professional; breakfast was fresh and excellent.
