Make an error in booking date. Called Hotels.com immediately, which contacted this hotel immediately. Hotels.com said hotel refused to switch date. Don’t recommend this hotel, as staff (and Hotels.com) are not helpful.

Solo stay

Hotel was okay. It was clean and in a convenient area near the train station. The receptionist was very friendly and professional. The immediate area isn't the nicest surrounding the hotel. There's a bus stop directly outside that attracts noise. I also find it tacky when a hotel tries to upsell you or charge extra for an early check in when I arrived around 20-30 minutes early. It's a perfectly reasonable policy if someone is arriving several hours early, but it's just bad service to do so that close to check in time. Not the type of place I'd stay again solely because of that attempt to squeeze more money out of me when I already paid an expensive rate.
