Room was fine, food at the restaurant was great. The hallways were quite dark on our floor maybe environmental that way? Word of advice is don’t try and leave between say 4 and 6:30pm as traffic is at a standstill then. Found out after that’s just Galway traffic at that time.

Out stay at the Nox was comfortable and quiet. It was so nice to be away from the busyness of the city. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Dunnes Stores and a laundry were nearby, both of which we made use of. It was a short walk to the city center. We would definitely stay again.

The power in our room went out twice. On the third time, the staff assigned us a new room, an upgrade! It all happened within our first 20 minutes. Nice rooms, plenty of space in both.

Nox was a very convenient location for Galway (25 min walk). The bar/restaurant offered tasty meals and a good continental breakfast. The room was very comfortable. My only comment would be that more hooks in the bathroom would be helpful.

The hotel is very good and clean. Staff is very nice. Breakfast is pretty good. The hotel itself is a 20-25 min walk in to Galway town centre. You probably could drive but parking is probably an issue as it’s crowded in town. The hotel is on the outskirts. The hallways in the hotel are very dim for some reason. Other than that enjoy.

Service was exceptional and so helpful all around. Breakfast was delicious and worth the 12€. Our issue with Nox Hotel was that there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and the room was constantly humid and smelled damp. We tried to crack open the window only to find that they were completely locked. No AC either which was honestly expected but combined with the inability to open the window was awful.
