County Galway Tours

Had such a lovely day on the tour from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren, and Galway! Huge thanks to our tour guide Aoife and bus driver Mariot for making the trip so enjoyable. Aoife shared so many fun facts and interesting stories throughout the journey, which made the long drive really entertaining. She was also super friendly, funny, and very helpful the whole day. Everything was well organised and the coach was great with a clean toilet. Definitely a 5 stars experience and highly recommended!

Recent days in Dublin have been rainy, and I was worried about today's trip, but thankfully, it didn't rain this morning. Although the temperature was low, around zero degrees Celsius, a double-decker bus was still full of tourists from various countries. The driver, who was also the tour guide, was very humorous, and from the moment we got on the bus, he was constantly counting heads, providing various explanations, and driving, diligently taking care of the tour members all day. The whole itinerary was compact and fulfilling, and the tour members were all very friendly. From the Cliffs of Moher...Fanore Beach (enjoying lunch at a century-old restaurant)...Burren Geopark...Galway city center (free time for shopping), we returned to Dublin city center at around 7:00 PM. On the way back, we even encountered snow flurries in the rain and saw a different kind of beautiful scenery! This trip booked on Klook was cost-effective, truly reliable, and worth recommending!

The tour starts at a convenient location in the center of Galway. From there it takes you all over the beautiful Connemara region with regular photo stops and breaks. Along the drive you will get some insightful information from your driver alternating with local music. The main attraction is Kylemore Estate where you get a decent amount of time to see everything if you follow the itinerary the driver provides. All in all a must do when you visit this part of Ireland!

The driver and tour guide was very polite and patient. The 100 minutes spent at the Cliffs of Moher was sufficient, but it included time for lunch. The cave visit required an additional 12 euros and lasted about 40 minutes, which felt like an optional activity with not much to see. Other attractions were mostly just driven past. I recommend joining a half-day tour, or taking a bus from Galway to the Cliffs of Moher yourself. You can get a timetable at the visitor center; the buses run quite frequently.

The weather and visibility of the cliffs was kind of bad but our guide Gerry did his best to make up for it by doing some detours to great spots. Overall a very nice experience.

The hike was pretty good. Didn’t quite make it all the way to the top of diamond hill but the views were still nice.
