Great
WiFi was glitchy. But staff was helpful to try to fix. Also the telephone to call front desk wasn’t working well. Cord to wall was loose. Not dealbreakers but just annoying. They didn’t have the replacement.

Great

Solo stay

The room is spacious and well laid out, especially compared with other NYC hotels. It was clean, had a very nice view, and the location was great. The amenities were not great—the shampoo/body wash was an all-in-one product, which I didn’t like, and there wasn’t even a complimentary bottle of water. There’s no breakfast or much in the way of food options at the hotel, but there are tons of places nearby where you can get food. Also, don’t forget that the rooftop bar is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Below average

Solo stay

I recently stayed at Moxy NYC Chelsea through Expedia, and the experience was unacceptable. Upon arrival, the room had a persistent, unpleasant odor. To make matters worse, there were bugs present in the room during the stay. When I attempted to manage the poor room conditions, property management was entirely unhelpful, ignored written communication, and improperly assessed a $500 fee based on automated air sensors without any physical inspection. They even added erroneous charges for unconsumed water bottles to the final bill. I would strongly advise against staying at this location until property management addresses their maintenance, cleanliness, and billing practices

Great hotel, great location. Rooms are small and short of space but other than that it’s 10/10

Great
The room is small as expected, but comfortable bed and size. Only complaint was that the shower water leaks into the floor boards outside the shower area. We had to step over that corner to about getting our socks wet since it was constantly leaking water when stepping on the floor boards there.
