GoodSolo stay
This may seem silly,. but... I had different rooms the first and second night and in neither room was the air-conditioner up to the challenge of keeping my room at a comfortable temperature. Las Vegas, mid-summer... I get it... at the same time, a hotel was built in Las Vegas that was meant to have occupancy mid-summer, so.... This made my stay challenging as I was not there for strictly liesurely reasons and therefore did not pass the hours in the casinos and/or bars... There was some amount of work I needed to accomplish and had hoped to do so in my room. The a/c system is designed such that it turns on/off intermittently... NOT governed by a thermometer in the room measuring the temperature. The intermitency is governed by the load on the a/c compressor. In other words, it tries it's best to cool the room with moderate success at best, but then has to stop periodically to catch it's breath,... at which point, air ceases to blow and the room temperature elevates quickly to an uncomfortable level. Any time spent in the room was subject to this cycle. When the air blew, I dreaded knowing it would stop at any moment. -and when it stopped, I sat, sweating, praying that it would turn back on soon. Again,... Vegas... summer... I get it... but I wouldn't build a structure on a foundation I knew couldn't sustain the weight, I wouldn't build a restaurant with a kitchen too small to keep pace with capacity, and I wouldn't build a hotel in a desert without ample a/c.

FantasticStayed with family
Rooms recently remodeled, staff very helpful with questions asked, the hotel was clean and well maintained. Located on Fremont street with access to many other casinos and food options within steps of the D. Street entertainment just outside the doors and many options for entertainment throughout the area around the location.

It’s a very noisy hotel . You hear music from Fremont st until 4am . The hallways had a terrible smell

GoodStayed with partner
The casino is nice, very lively and hip. The room was OK, but we were on the 5th floor and you could hear the LOUD music from Freemont St. to the point where we couldn’t sleep. (And we’re people who love music). It was way, way LOUD. The air conditioner was just as loud, it sounded like a cricket with a speaker attached to it all night long. The check in ladies were very sweet. Check in was at 3, we arrived at 3:45 and our room wasn’t ready until about 5:20. They text you when your room is ready, but you have to get back in line and by this time the line was very long. We booked our room through Expedia and usually it says you need to pay whatever fees at check in, I didn’t see that. We had a $45 resort fee due. Which is normal, however I didn’t see that.

FantasticSolo stay
I really quite enjoyed the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was one of the less expensive meals I’ve eaten from the D. I really appreciated the few that were nice and kind to me while staying there, I wish I could remember their names but I do however remember their faces! 😅 I also appreciate everyone hard at work! It really rejuvenates the customer service side of me 😁 I will be staying at the D from now on, whenever I visit! It’s really amazing!
