Solo stay

Big clean room. Check in & out was smooth and free parking in the car park next door which was a bonus, it is first come first served but always people leaving. No air conditioning in the room and it was boiling, lots of noise with the windows open. Fridge in room is great for keeping things cool but makes the most annoying sound when you are trying to sleep. Excellent TV in room and both kettle & coffee machine which was a bonus.

The check in was easy, the room was immaculate, the mini fridge was stocked with bottled water, cookies and fresh milk which was very much appreciated, the curtains were black out which was lovely, we were on the 5th floor and even with the windows open all night (as sadly it wasn't air conditioned) you couldn't hear any noise which was great! Susan on reception went above and beyond, she was super helpful and really lovely to us and our children :-) sadly our room didn't include breakfast and when we asked it was £15pp which seemed very expensive so unfortunately I can't review the breakfast. The hotel was quite expensive but with the extra touches like a mini fridge with water, cookies and fresh milk, a nespresso machine in the room, large flatscreen tv and complimentary car parking that definitely helped make it more special. I do think the breakfast price needs reviewing, I honestly thought with the price that we had paid, breakfast would be included! We walked 0.3miles and ordered a Full English breakfast with refillable tea/coffee and only paid £8.50pp! Almost half the price and it was delicious. But honestly, other than that it was a lovely hotel, very clean and with such lovely staff, thanks again Susan you really are a lovely lady xx

Nice property, well maintained. Very convenient as it was right next to Lime Street Railroad station. Unfortunately the room was an oven. With temperatures running in the mid-80's, it was HOT. No A/C, and the window only opens an inch. Not enough fresh air getting in the room. We spent a hot night with a loud fan running. Not a pleasant stay. Lodging in this part of the world needs to get into the 21st century and get some level of temperature control.

It’s proximity to lime Street very handy for our trip. Useful to have the restaurant as I have a temporary mobility problem so couldn’t easily go out of the hotel to eat elsewhere. The only negative was the fridge was not working and the room was very warm although the large fan provided did help. The staff were good especially the lady in charge of the breakfast service.

Windows did not open enough to cool room enough. It was very hot, too hot to sleep! There was a fan in the room. No facial wash cloths!
