Straightforward check in and friendly staff.
Room was filthy and there was a lot of mould around the edges of the bath/shower area. When I asked for another room I was told they all looked like that.

The Highland Gate pub was very nice and great atmosphere, food, drink and staff were good. The rooms were OK, bedding etc were all clean but problem we had was with the bathroom where there was a hole in the wall due to no door stop and the bath/shower vent had quite a bit of mould.

Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast included is a nice touch. Restaurant close by is great too. Location of hotel is ideal for visiting many places as the bus station is a few minutes walk away

Good Our bathroom wasn't the most clean or updated (shower curtain, mold in bath and shower), but the room & beds were fine and staff were very helpful.

I went out to my car to get my laptop took key out of the electric fitting when I tried to get back into the building it did not work .
Walked up to reception. They asked for ID
which I could not provide as all in my car .
What a nightmare as they would not give me a new key card for around 1 hour !

A nice,clean room and en-suite bathroom. Comfortable bed. Would have liked decaf tea. in room. There was no soap in the sink dispenser but there was in the shower one.
Had to pay extra £1.50 for a small dollop of extra gravy with my Sunday roast!
