This was our second stay at Hotel Principe. We love the location, as it’s within a couple blocks of the Santa Lucia train station, and there are many shops and restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. The hotel is right on the water with a great view of the canal. Our room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast buffet offered many options. We will stay here again if we come back to Venice.

This hotel is in a perfect location on the Grand Canal and very near the train station and water taxi options. Our room had a balcony and the view was spectacular!! We wish we could have stayed longer!! There were also many dining options very very close. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. We would stay here again!!

I left my purse inside the room for around 3 hours to join a tour orientation. When we came back, our keys no longer worked. Then we discovered all the money inside my purse and wallet were missing. It is a nice hotel overlooking the canal, is located conveniently near the train and water bus station. It is a shame that someone gained access to our room and ruined our vacation.
