Beautiful stay in the Villa at the Sunset Marquis. It's a little peace of heaven right off of Sunset. Beautiful grounds, excellent food at Cavatina and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. They even gave my dog a welcome gift! Will stay here in the future.

We always have a great stay here. Can’t wait to see the new restaurant upgrade.

Best stay in a villa and vibe all around and THE BEST staff EVER! Even with the remodeling noise, it was not an issue cuz the place was UBER FAB! **Drinks & food were incredible! Pool day was fun and the bartender with the English accent and big smile made the best banana pina coladas for us in her mixer and topped it with dark rum~ YUM!! Lobby bar was swanky, dark, and the spot and open till 2 am. ~ okay, did i say service all over the property were incredible? lol! oh, and Jay at the restaurant bar went above and beyond; we loved him so much! Got the Waygu Burger "not on the menu" which was amazing and the rigatoni pasta is a MUST and side of their homemade bread and olive oil dip!! ~ French press coffee was so fresh, (room also had fab set up for coffee, we loved) - $15 OJ sounds crazy, right? But just say "Yes, please" and then "thank you" and you tilt that glass of OJ back for the last and final drop **or add some libations right in, too ;-) ~ oh, and get the Sunset salmon "lox" plate, eggs bene with the house herbed potatoes *A-MAZING, etc.! You're welcome !!!

Wonderful hotel experience! The most relaxing place ever. We loved the space, the room, the pool, restaurant and late night spot. The staff really are the best part though, everyone is so nice and welcoming especially the bar/restaurant staff(John & Simone) and the bellhop team. Our only minor complaint was the shower - water pressure was not great, plus wish it was a walk in also. Other than that nothing but 5 stars - we can’t wait to go back.

This is a great historical property located in a beautiful setting. Well worth every penny!

Hotel is going through remodel and the photos that you see on Expedia don't accurate represent each room. I booked the room thinking it was super nice and we got room that looked and smelled like motel 6. I asked the front desk to check out on day 2 and they offered me a better room for 2 days. New room is very nice. It's fully remodeled has nice bathroom and beautiful floors. It has nice comfortable bed and good sheets. My two cents about sleeping number one issue the mattress somehow most a lot when one person moves the other one feels it a lot. The second thing is, they have big feather bed that makes you sink real deep into the mattress which I liked, but it definitely makes you sleep a bit hot . The most important comment - air works great but pretty loud ! I had to turn it off 1st night as I had hard time falling asleep. Room got super hot. 2nd night I had to turn it on but had hard time sleeping. The last point - leaving car overnight is $68! I don't think the hotel is worth the money they are charging. Customer service and lobby is very meh ! We didn't feel welcome too club just meh.

I love staying here because it’s really lowkey and well located. The two pools are great, the property is lush and music studio downstairs is super cool! The rooms are spacious and the staff is so helpful and kind. I’ve returned twice and always have a great stay!
