This lovely hotel is located in the historic area of Bologna, making it easy to walk to all the sites you want to see as well as wonderful restaurants. The staff is so helpful with dining recommendations. The breakfasts are delicious, with yummy hot options as well as buffet items. The bar in the hotel is a nice little spot to stop for some wine or a cocktail. Everything is very clean and well maintained. There is only one thing that wasn’t great - the air conditioning. Despite the attempts by the desk staff to set and reset the AC, it was impossible to get the room cool enough to sleep comfortably.

Everything about the Hotel Brun was excellent. The location in Bologna, the mattress, linens, shower, water pressure, staff, breakfast…..all excellent! We enjoyed our stay a LOT!!!

The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, the room was really nice with a super comfortable bed and the breakfast was plentiful and of great quality.

Clean, comfortable room with lovely pillows and bed linens. One ugly misstep in room decor an horrible dried flower arrangement. Excellent location for walking everywhere. Very helpful front desk staff, attentive to booking taxis and restaurants. Excellent breakfast served in a pleasant room.

The rooms are well thought out, the staff are lovely and will do anything to help and the breakfast was delightful. The hotel is also well situated just off the main central square but in a quiet location. Would definitely stay here again
