It was a great experience. We easily found the meeting point at Hakata Station. Our guide, Nanami, was incredibly friendly and effortlessly switched between Chinese, Japanese, and English, explaining the itinerary and providing brief details about the attractions. The mini-bus was also very comfortable, and the driver was skilled. If you have luggage, you need to contact them via email in advance. We were lucky today; although it was cloudy with scattered showers, it didn't rain during our visits to the attractions, even though it rained heavily on the road. The turbulent sea and the vibrant red torii gate offered a wonderful experience. Akiyoshido Cave was quite cool inside, so bringing a jacket is recommended; it felt like a cave exploration. The crepes at the ice cream shop by the cave entrance were mediocre and not cheap.

Although this day tour only has 3 attractions, each of them has its own unique features and is well worth a visit. The sushi at Karato Market was fresh and delicious; we didn't go to the most famous shop because the queue was simply too long, but just randomly picked a nearby one and were already very satisfied, especially the fatty tuna, which melted in your mouth! We tried the pufferfish sashimi, which wasn't anything special. The rows of red torii gates at Motonosumi Shrine, paired with the blue sky, white clouds, and the endless sea, made me subconsciously take dozens of photos! Mount Sarakura at dusk and as the night lights begin to glow is truly enchanting! It's very suitable for photography enthusiasts, just make sure to reserve enough time for the round-trip cable car. The tour guide, Mr. Cheung, was very attentive; he always clearly stated the meeting times and reminded everyone when it was a good time to use the restroom. Explaining the itinerary and background information of the attractions along the way in English, Mandarin, and Japanese was effortless for him, definitely deserving of praise!

इस यात्रा में कुल 3 दर्शनीय स्थल हैं। दूरियाँ थोड़ी ज़्यादा हैं और गाड़ी का सफ़र काफ़ी लंबा है, इसलिए थोड़ी थकान हो सकती है। तोरातो बाज़ार (唐户市场) का सीफ़ूड ताज़ा और किफायती था, खाने में बहुत मज़ा आया। प्रत्येक सुशी की कीमत लगभग 200 से 600 येन के बीच है, और 1000 से 2000 येन में मिक्स्ड सीफ़ूड या साल्मन रोए (सल्मोन रो) वाली सीफ़ूड डोनबुरी (चावल का कटोरा) मिल जाती है। दूसरी मंज़िल पर बैठने की जगह के लिए प्रति व्यक्ति 300 येन का शुल्क देना होता है। अंत में, साराकुरा पर्वत का नाइट व्यू (रात का नज़ारा)। मौसम ज़्यादा अच्छा नहीं था, बहुत कोहरा था और कुछ भी दिखाई नहीं दे रहा था, लेकिन शुक्र है कि जब हम नीचे आ रहे थे तो कोहरा थोड़ा छँट गया, जिससे नाइट व्यू का एक बेहतरीन अंत देखने को मिला। पहाड़ की दूसरी मंज़िल पर एक व्यू रेस्तरां है, लेकिन वहाँ ज़्यादा सीटें नहीं हैं। जैसे ही केबल कार पहुँचे, तुरंत ऑर्डर करने जाएँ, वरना सीटें न होने पर वे और ऑर्डर नहीं लेंगे। रेस्तरां में लगभग 12 टेबल ही हैं और स्टाफ की कमी के कारण खाना बहुत धीरे परोसा जाता है, इसलिए वापसी की गाड़ी के समय का ध्यान रखें। टूर लीडर सुश्री यांग मेंग बहुत मिलनसार थीं और उन्होंने बहुत सारी उपयोगी जानकारी साझा की।

What a lovely way to spend an afternoon! I had a wonderful time with these ladies learning about Japanese food. They could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Thank you so much for a very memorable and enjoyable experience. It was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan!

Overall, the trip was good, but I wish we had more time to explore Mojiko. Since it was a weekend, Mount Sarakura was very crowded, with long queues. Unfortunately, we missed the sunset and reached the top when it was already dark, windy and freezing cold, so there wasn’t much to see. Our tour guide, Robin, was very nice and attentive and took good care of everyone throughout the trip.
