During this stay at Talmud Hotel Chiayi, the entire hotel had been renovated, and the overall environment was bright and comfortable, with a high-ceilinged lobby that offered a great sense of space. Initially, the room assigned had a noticeable musty smell due to high humidity. After reporting this to the hotel staff, they promptly and actively assisted in changing our room. The second room we were moved to was much improved, with both the room and bathroom kept very clean, making the overall stay much more comfortable. Regarding parking, if the spaces next to the hotel are full, there's another parking lot on the other side, though it's a bit further away. Alternatively, guests can choose to park on the street; the hotel will fully reimburse parking fees upon presentation of the receipt, which is very convenient for guests arriving by car. Overall, the hotel environment is bright after the renovation, the staff's attitude in resolving room issues was excellent, and the parking reimbursement is a thoughtful service.

Great value! The room was clean, comfortable, and quite new. The only minor drawbacks were having to park in a nearby lot and the restaurant not being open yet, but everything else was excellent. It's very convenient for catching buses, renting scooters, and finding food near the station. I would definitely stay here again. Cleanliness: 10 Convenience of transportation: 10

I've stayed here twice now, and both times have been great. The rooms are clean inside and out, and having the night market right next door is the best part. Plus, there's the amazing rice noodle soup across the street, and the dog at the dessert shop next door!

After booking, we informed the hotel that a birthday celebrant would be staying that month. The front desk arranged for a 4-inch cake to be placed in the room's refrigerator, which was a pleasant surprise upon check-in. The gym, afternoon tea, and breakfast were all excellent; breakfast was much better than expected. A 4-star hotel certainly doesn't disappoint. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to Chiayi.

The accommodation was great, located in Chiayi City. The room had a bathtub and a separate wet/dry area, which was very nice. However, the cleaning staff always wore headphones when they came, and it seemed like I had to repeat things several times for them to hear me. When we left, they left a rag on our table, and I wasn't sure what it was for. I hope they can pay more attention next time.

The location is good, with a 7-Eleven right next to the hotel. The soundproofing is a bit lacking; even on the 8th floor, I could still hear music playing from the banquet hall on the 12th floor. However, the annoying low-frequency sounds stopped once the event concluded. In the morning, you can hear traffic outside the window. The air conditioning in the room was sufficiently cool and the room was very clean. The staff at the main entrance and in the breakfast area were all very friendly and polite. If you are a light sleeper, I recommend bringing earplugs.

We stayed here while visiting the Meteor Garden filming locations, Alishan, and Hinoki Village. The hotel is very accessible, it's conveniently located near the bus station, making it easy to get around. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. A great base for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend for the convenient location!
