Penghu

The scooter is an electric scooter, very small and cramped. You can ride it for about two loops, and there's still enough charge for one more loop. You don't need to stay too long; you can catch the return ferry around 1:00 PM. There are fewer attractions compared to Qimei.

This was such a unique experience! Loved it! I would highly recommend this as an activity to do one evening!

The boat and bus connections were well-coordinated. On such a beautiful island, the scenery you'd see while cycling with the wind in your hair would definitely be different from what you see through a car window. However, traveling with elderly family members, avoiding sun exposure and navigating with maps, made this a more relaxed choice. The time spent on both islands was short, and the tour explanations were a bit concise, making it more of a quick, whirlwind tour.

The captain's chosen spot that day offered a perfect view of the entire drone show. We ate a lot of fresh oysters at the marine ranch, but no one caught any squid. The fishing bait was too large, it felt like we were just feeding the fish and couldn't catch anything.

Moon Bay diving really does have a purple lavender forest, but when I went on May 23rd, the water was still very cold, requiring a 3mm wetsuit. Without one, you could probably only stay in for about 30 minutes. Qimei has many attractions! You can spend a whole day enjoying water activities. The scooters are easy-to-ride gas-powered ones.

Aside from the lunch menu, which was a bit disappointing, I'm not sure why there was such a big difference between the upstairs and downstairs dishes. Luckily, there were snack shops and ice cream parlors nearby where we could eat instant noodles and shaved ice. Overall, the rest of the experience was pretty good! There wasn't much to do on the island, but thankfully, the tour guide was quite humorous and loved to "chat it up," which made the whole trip less boring. He actually managed to fool me with his "chatter" several times!

The captain was very nice, and the diving instructors were excellent! However, the weather wasn't cooperating that day; there was no wind, light rain, and huge waves. Snorkeling basically allowed us to see the seawater, sand, sea cucumbers, and the instructors' fins. Because the waves were so big, the snorkeling spot wasn't the original location, but being able to get in the water was still a good experience. The noodles were delicious.

The itinerary was packed with activities, and it was a rare experience to pass under the cross-sea bridge and see the whirlpools up close! The cruise around the northern islands, seeing the Blue Cave, and watching the terns were all very interesting, and Mudouyu Island was incredibly beautiful! The beach at Jibei was lovely, the ice cream was delicious, and the restaurants and shops were all very friendly. Our tour guide enthusiastically shared information throughout the trip and helped everyone take great photos. The captain and crew provided aerial views that we wouldn't have seen otherwise, creating wonderful memories of our journey.

This was my first time on the Penghu Sunset Tour, and our guide, Yifan, was excellent, providing detailed explanations at every stop. We happened to catch the first fireworks test, and watching them from the sea was truly spectacular. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.
