This was a well-planned cooking experience, and the chef really catered to our group's needs. Heeyoung is an excellent teacher, who was able to deliver a fun activity. She accommodated our diverse group and even some requests made in advance. And with her guidance, the food tasted great!
There was an unforgettable experience for my niece and me in this cooking class! First, the school location was very good and easy to find, and the school environment was very clean and tidy. The teacher was very friendly and always with a smile on her face. She was very patient in teaching us, and her lively and humorous personality made our learning very enjoyable. The teacher introduced a lot of ingredients and preparation methods, all of which were homemade. During the process, we were able to make our own, and the teacher also joined us for lunch. It just happened to be a rainy day, and the teacher and I drank Magrite wine and chives pancakes together, which was really fun! After meal, we drank tea and chatted together. she also taught us a lot of Korean language! The teacher also took us to a traditional market, introduced it to us, and gave us a tour. I bought a lot of ingredients, and I'm very grateful to the teacher for bringing us such a happy day, where we learned a lot. we are so glad and definitely come back to learn more next time!

I’m so happy I booked this. Heeyoung’s culinary expertise combined with her warm personality was the true highlight, making it the perfect way to start my trip in Korea. Even if you don’t cook, everything is beginner friendly and you get to tour the marketplace which was so much fun learning about different delicacies. Definitely a must-do if you’re ever in Busan!
We had an incredible experience learning to prepare classic Korean dishes, including stir fried octopus, seafood and green onion pancake, and seaweed soup. Everything turned out delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. The class also included a beautiful tea ceremony and a guided tour of Bupyeong Market, which gave us great insight into the local food culture. Heeyoung was a wonderful host, warm, knowledgeable, and patient. She not only taught us about the importance of ingredients like soybeans in Korean cuisine but also shared her personal stories and experiences from her travels, which made the day even more special. This cooking class was a highlight of our trip to Busan, and we’ll always remember our time with Heeyoung. Highly recommended!
One of the best experiences I've had in south korea by far. Heeyoung, the chef and the host of the workshop was super nice, and besides her great English, she also taught us so much and really explained all we wanted to know about korean cuisine. She also makes everything from scratch by herself. The food was great and diverse and the place where the workshop took place is clean and really pleasant. After eating, Heeyoung took us to one of the local markets on the area and we got to experience another side fo the Korean cuisine. Overall great experience, I recommend it very much, 10/10
Wonderful experience with chef Heeyoung! The cooking class was very informative and she explained different fermentation processes for the Korean sauces. We cooked birthday soup of seaweed and a large clam, a squid and onion dish, and chive pancake with seafood. Then we had a tea ceremony with lotus leaf tea and chatted with the chef, and finished with a tour of the local food market, where she showed us some local specialty foods. I recommend this experience wholeheartedly!
It was an insightful session with Hee Young today. Learnt so much about different ingredients and she made the cooking experience simple to understand and easy to follow. Everything went smoothly even though its a big class of 12. The food made were great too. Will recommend this for all we love Korean food, or want to learn more about Korean food and ingredients.
As someone who has culinary experience this was really insightful to learn about Korean food, especially Busan local food but also how to make the sauces from scratch. Haeyoung was really knowledgeable and uses her own Jang which made it more authentic.
