I really enjoyed this tour. It was probably one of the better things I did in Kyoto. I was the only one that booked the tour, so it was private. The guide was great! He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions, even if he had to look up a couple of the more challenging ones. The zen Buddhist temples we visited were really interesting and the gardens were gorgeous! Afterwards, he dropped me off at the tea ceremony place. The host there was very nice and shared a lot of her knowledge of traditional tea ceremonies. I was supposed to be with another couple for that but they were late and missed most of it.

Wir haben mit Josh die wabi-sabi Tour durch Kyoto gemacht. Er hat uns viel erklärt und das hat wirklich Spaß gemacht. Den Abschluss bildete eine Teezeremonie die ca 30 min gedauert hat. Danke für den interessanten Tag.

Josh was a great guide . Took his time and di not rush. Even took us on s lighly longer route to show more of Kyoto

Nous avons passé une excellente demi-journée avec nos deux guides locaux Hide et Woohee. Nous avons beaucoup appris sur le quartier historique de Gion et les traductions japonaises. La cérémonie du thé a bien clôturé notre journée.
