I want to start by saying that the hotel staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the condition of our room did not meet our expectations.
When we arrived, the room was noticeably dusty, and the sheets, duvet, and mattress protector all had multiple stains. We immediately requested fresh bedding, and while the staff responded promptly, the replacement sheets also had stains on them. We reported the issue to the front desk, and they informed us that housekeeping had already left for the evening but would return the next day to clean the room and provide new bedding.
The following day, we left the room around 11:00 a.m. expecting the issue to be addressed. However, when we returned later that day, the room had not been cleaned and no new bedding had been provided. The next morning, we had to contact the front desk again and request that our room be prioritized.
In addition, the shower door did not close properly, causing water to leak onto the bathroom floor each time the shower was used. We had to repeatedly request extra towels throughout our stay just to keep the floor dry and safe.
While I appreciate the kindness and professionalism of the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the maintenance issues, and the lack of follow-through on housekeeping requests were disappointing. Clean bedding, a clean room, and properly functioning facilities are basic expectations for any hotel stay. I hope management addresses these concerns.
