宿泊した部屋は、定員５人のコテージでした。
(ベッドが２台とロフトに布団３組)
そこに４人で泊まりました。
新緑の季節でしたが、夜は少し肌寒かったので暖房をつけました。
しばらくすると、ロフトから「暑い」との苦情が。
ロフトには熱がこもり易いのでしょう、サーキュレーターが必要でした。
特に夏はエアコンの冷気が届かない懸念がありますので、サーキュレーターの導入を検討して欲しいと思います。
ベッド周りにコンセントが欲しいと思いました。
最近はスマホを見ながらベッドで過ごす人が多いと思いますので、枕元にスマホを置けるちょっとした台とコンセントが各々あると快適度がグンと上がります。
トイレですが、便座が小さすぎて用後に拭きにくいのと、トイレットペーパーの位置が便器に近すぎて身体に当たりますし取りにくいです。
私は決して大きな身体ではないので、皆さんが同じく感じると思います。
お風呂のシャワーですが、水圧が強いのは大変助かりました(生涯最高水圧)。
ただ、現状のシャワーヘッドでは周りにお湯が飛び散り過ぎです。
通販の安いものでも良いのがありますので、「今風の」シャワーヘッドに替えた方が良いと思います。
お部屋にカメムシさんが何度かいました。
見つけるたびに外に出すのですが、何となく同じ個体に見えました。
扉も窓も締め切っているのに、どこかから入れているような気もします。
それと、カーテンが窓枠より小さいので窓の目隠しは完璧にして欲しいです。
今回は食事をいただいていないので、食事の評価は出来ません。
施設の方とは鍵の受け渡しでしか接しておらず、評価のしようがないので「普通」としましたが、決して悪い印象があるわけではありません。
キッチンも冷蔵庫もあって、掃除も行き届いていて清潔なお部屋でした。
もしかしたら、この夏にリピートするかも知れません。
その時は、お食事も楽しめたら、と思います。
それと、上記の改善が為されていることに少し期待しています。

Great place to spend an holiday in Karuizawa. Very comfortable and owner very kind. You can even have a tasty breakfast at reasonable price!

The architecture of the building was beautiful, and the atmosphere very homey and welcoming. It has a nostalgic feel to it, and the overall experience was very comfortable. The host was also nice and made us feel at home.

1. Remote location. Very difficult to access the house.
2. Room is very dirty. Spider webs stick on every comers. There are always insects inside the room.
3. Moldy sink which I don't even want to get close to it.
4. The room is very tiny.
5. The unbelievable thing is I paid for 4 guests, but two of us were asked to sleep in the attic of the room which is not a proper and suitable place for sleeping.
6. I am frequent traveller, this is the worst stay I have ever been!
