A fantastic hotel in a prime Shanghai location. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and the range of services is impressive. The breakfast buffet was a highlight — a wonderful spread covering both Eastern and Western options.
But the real star of W Shanghai is the staff. Every single person we encountered — from the warm, welcoming lady at the reception desk to everyone else we met throughout our stay — was helpful, genuinely cheerful, and went above and beyond. The upgrade to a river-view room was the cherry on top.
