This hotel was very well located and made getting around Halifax easy. The front reception staff was incredible. The breakfast staff is better than any wait staff at a restaurant and make you FEEL welcome. The daily rotation of freshly made food was wonderful. Each day we were treated to wonderful cold and hot breakfasts that were as good if not better than restaurants nearby. There is limited parking so be aware.

We had a nice week long stay, the room was nice and large and perfect for our family of 5. We did have to make multiple calls down to the front desk for additional towels, toilet paper and Kleenex during our stay, it would be nice if they left more of those items when more people are staying in the room instead of only stocking it for 2 people. The breakfast was nice also but I was disappointed to learn that they did still do the Wednesday evening social after I had asked specifically upon my arrival and was told they don't do that. Otherwise it was a comfortable stay, my daughter enjoyed the pool too.

Good location. Nice to have the choice of a bedroom and kitchenette. The furniture in the room and the dining room needs to be updated. Breakfast selection was good. Would recommend that the hotel chooses another brand of coffee. Fulgers is not the best. Overall very happy with our stay and we would Come back.

Room was very dated, furniture was so old it was not comfortable to sit on the couch or sleep on the beds.
