Mansion Merida is an excellent choice for a stay in Merida. The mansion is beautiful, the rooms are gorgeous with special touches from the host. Breakfast in the courtyard is a treat overlooking the beautiful fountain with staff going above and beyond to kick off your day with a lovely breakfast that's included in your stay. I can't wait to return!

Staying at this property was wonderful. From the moment I arrived and received a very warm welcome at reception, to the equally warm thank you I received while leaving, all of the staff were very welcoming and helpful, and there was always someone around and available if I had any questions about local services. The breakfasts were varied and delicious, even the buffet style breakfasts served on the weekends, and the waitstaff was gracious. Cleaning of the rooms and maintenance of the grounds seemed to be intuitive, aware when I left the room and done before I could return and almost invisible otherwise--even the rotating selection of cookies seemed to appear magically for turndown when I was away from my room for dinner. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well furnished. The air conditioning, even when I turned it off or down when I left the room for the middle of the day, quickly cooled the room when I returned. My only suggestion would possibly be supply of a regular sized ironing board instead of a short legged desk top model--ironing of my shirts for dinnertime proved to be a challenge with the short legged version.

The are no words to describe the charm and beauty of this property! The staff Ivan and Hector are extremely kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. Sr. Rafael has so much love for this property and it shows in his attention to every detail. You can't beat the location right in the heart of Merida. We will definitely be returning!

This is most fantastic, most gorgeous hotel, an old mansion extensively decorated with different types of art. Our room was large and accommodated my temporarily disabled husband in the best way. The personnel were most helpful. Like all guests, we were greeted with the manager/owner personally. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had the most amazing time at this boutique hotel!!! You are actually staying in a mansion with a beautiful atrium restaurant (with delicious food), gorgeous chandeliers, wood doors and a lovely pool! It is absolutely stunning, comfortable and the staff are wonderful! In addition to a fantastic place to stay, it is right in the middle of everything that you want to do in Merida!!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely stay there again when we are in Merida!

Desde el momento en que llegamos, todo el equipo nos recibió con una amabilidad excepcional y una atención impecable. Las habitaciones son premium, elegantemente decoradas y perfectamente equipadas, ofreciendo comodidad y lujo en cada detalle. El restaurante es hermoso, con un ambiente encantador, y la comida simplemente deliciosa. Quiero dar un agradecimiento muy especial a Raúl Casares, quien personalmente nos atendió y compartió con nosotros la fascinante historia de la mansión, una propiedad con más de 200 años de historia, transmitiendo con pasión y orgullo el legado de este lugar tan especial. Además, su ubicación es inmejorable: está en el corazón del centro histórico de Mérida, cerca de todo, lo que hace la experiencia aún más especial. Sin duda, un lugar al que volveríamos una y otra vez. Gracias por una estancia inolvidable.

Mansion Merida is a beautiful, well maintained property in the historical city center of Merida. We were steps away from a vibrant night life but once inside, it was quiet and peaceful. Alberto and his team took excellent care of us through each breakfast and time by the pool. The food was delicious, the service excellent and our room stunning. Can't recommend this boutique hotel enough.

A beautiful boutique hotel where staff members make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the doors. The front office staff, Ivan, Hector and Jose were always available to assist with transportation and answer questions and give recommendations. Alberto and Alexander welcomed us for breakfast each morning with smiles and coffee and juice. From the front office to the restaurant to the housekeeping staff and groundskeepers, every person enables this hotel to run smoothly and efficiently. The rooms are comfortable and quite large with high ceilings and spacious bathrooms. We spent our afternoons by the hotel pool and rarely saw other guests. So relaxing. The Mansion is centrally located with restaurants, shops and historical sites all within walking distance. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning on visiting Mérida. Finally, we would be remiss if we did not mention the owner Raul, who graciously invites his guests into his grandfather’s home and makes them feel like family. Thank you to all for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
