Fantastique We loved the free drinks and snacks in the evening. The breakfast is healthy and locally-sourced. The Shirakawa River beside the hotel is pretty. The soba and sushi restaurants beside the hotel are excellent. It’s close to Meiji jingu and a Tsutaya bookstore which feels peaceful.

Beautiful hotel, good space in the rooms. The lobby is lovely to sit in next to a stream. The staff are outstanding, they helped us sending our luggage smoothly to the next location and were very helpful. I wish they had pointed out that there are free drinks and food in the evening as I did not realise until our check out date!!
Would recommend, the best shower I've had!!

Excellent location for all the tourist sightseeing locations in eastern Kyoto, situated at the side of a lovely stream. Very helpful friendly staff and an amazing, long free happy hour. The room was immaculate and very well equipped.

Everything was great but I could suggest for the hotel a possibility to think about the hotel crew has a staff member comfortable to speak English.
I guess it can make a huge difference in the hospitality.

Pretty river next to the hotel. Electric plugs and lighting was where they should be located in the room. Fabulous rain shower with lots of water pressure. Nice happy hour. Great value. Lori
